[CLOSED] Jewel Sets - The Final 50

Atys's Slowest Leveling Jeweler (240 for a year lol) is about to finally 250 jewels and I want to focus on other goals during my remaining time here and will no longer be selling via the merchants. I leveled jewels with the express purpose of selling cheap as I had trouble affording even Haddo's, and am pleased that this was appreciated by so many of you :) .

Bids are per set and you can bid on as many or as few sets as you wish.

Bids to be Q200 (or higher if suits u to dig higher Q) dug mats or Q200 or Q250 cats. For purpose of this auction, 1 stack of cats = 400 dug mats.

To simplify bid comparison, please bid in units and increments of .5, so a bid of 1.5 means 600 dug mats or 1.5 stacks of cats or 400 dug mats and 500 cats or 200 dug mats and 1 stack of cats - and while Anissa would have np with this and be able to diagram it too, much simpler to bid in units :) . Minimum bid is 1 unit.

Auction will close at 9 AM GMT on Tuesday May 30. I will fill the order of the highest bidder and work down the list until all sets are gone.

Love these jewels, Zysha :D

Does the subject, "The Final 50", mean this auction is for 50 full sets?

I'm pleased to start the bidding at one unit each for 5 full sets.

Yes, I should definitely even weather being a pig be able to dig enuf mats while excs are up to make 50 sets. If weather is kind I might be able to make more than 50 and will try to if the interest is there.

Hmmm... do these sets have the same stats on all pieces, or a balanced mix? If it's the latter, I'll bid 1.5 units for one set.

You can bid the same as I will start at highest bid and work down from there with ties determined by date of bid. Atm Serachi bid 1 unit for 5 sets, which leaves 45 sets that could also be bought for 1 unit.

If all bid 1 unit I will give them out until I run out of sets according to date stamp and number of sets bid for - so Serachi gets 5, you get 44 so u won't need to panic for a very long time to come :) , and whoever posts a bid next gets the 50th set. If someone were to bid 1.5 units for 50 sets, Serachi and other 1 unit bidders would need to bid higher since all 50 sets were taken by the highest bidder.

Hope this clarifies it Rushin, and thanks for asking as it is unclear since Rocci placed a tentative bid of 1.5 which is at this point unnecessary to do.

They will all be the same as the one pictured Rocci to simply my digging. See also comment to Rushin re: not needing to bid 1.5 units until 50 sets have been bid for at 1 unit.

I will try and summarize bids should there be more over time, and will be helpful if bidders specify how many sets u are bidding for as ppl will then know when it is necessary to up the bid to 1.5 units.

Atm bids are:

Serachi: 5 sets at 1 unit

No as I am trading time for time in essence, and drop rates on all things are too low for there to be enough for sale for me to be able to use dappers to get my time back. Were drop rates increased the dapper would have value as there would be quantities sufficient to be able to buy mats, both grind and boss mats. Crafters can't buy either as there simply isn't enough dropped and hence we have to resort to trading our time digging and hunting to get the mats to make the item for the time of the person who wants the item digging and hunting for us. And at the end of the trade the crafter must still do it for the love of crafting as, eg it took me 30 or more rl hours to collect the mats to make a pike I auctioned for 10k mats and I can dig way more than 10k in 30 hours. If all sets don't sell I will be giving them to friends as I plan to make sets for them b4 I leave will save the time needed to yuk dig all over again :) .

Doesn't help you wanting to be able to buy with dappers I know, but perhaps understanding the reason so many crafters resort to mat auctions is inability to buy mats and needing to get even some of our time back helps a little.
