What does CoC say about afk in game?

This may have been addressed and I overlooked it <<shrug>> Dunno.

Anyway, I often have to be temporarily afk due to RL issues. What is the official standing on this? Whenver possible, I try to afk in a town or village, but its not always possible.

On a related note, is there a chatline "command macro" to auto-reply to a /tell with an afk message?

If you type /afk is leaves an AFK message. It was buggy but may have the text fixed with this new patch, I haven't been in yet.
