Hello all,

I have just gone back to uni and on their stupid WLAN, i got error code 1 on startup of ryzom, before i went away it was fine, but now i believe they have blocked some ports.

Does anyone know of a way of changing the ports ryzom uses so that its not detected? I am looking into it at the moment, but any help anyone may give would be great.

You might get a better (or at least, faster) response to this in the Technical Support area of the Forums. Or, if you haven't already, download and install "Klients"....the real-time chat for Ryzom. There is almost *always* a GM or Tech Support person in there that can help.

Its trying to get round the internet companies firewall settings, but if all fails i will speak to the GM's

You may want to look at the Network FAQ (found in the Tech Support forum) for the port information that you will need.

There is nothing that can be configured in the game settings to force it around a firewall. You will have to talk to the firewall admins to open the ports needed.

I have got on to them to sort the ports out. Thanks for the help.
