Good job CSR's

Post by zebidie »

I'd just like to take a moment to congratulate the EE Server CSR team, I've played quite a few MMORPGs and have NEVER come across such a responsive and helpful Support Team. Never before have I had such fast responses (or even a response at all) in any other MMORPG.

A few days ago I filled in a bug report and got back to playing, after a few seconds a chat popped up. My first thought was that it was a player wanting to join the guild, it never even occurred to me that I would actually get a response in person to a bug report let alone one within 10 seconds of sending it. In eve online you're lucky to get an email back within a week says "sorry we cant help you" bug reports you never get any response at all.. every single bug report I've sent since has had the same treatment; a quick chat and a personal thank you from a support representative.

Good job folks you do the game proud!

I've had similar experiences Zebi. I've submitted three tickets so far and never had to wait longer than ten minutes for a response. I think they are all wonderful - nothing is too much trouble and they always seem to be cheerful. We're very lucky to have them I guess. It seems this level of service is unique to SoA, which is a shame.

See you ingame soon Zeb *hugs*

Similar experience here.

I was submitting suggestions and submitted one about the lack of a real /afk command.

Up pops a Tell window and its a GM praising me on submitting suggestions.

1 hour later after we had discussed all the in's and out's of one simple command (/afk) and how best to impliment it we where satisfied that we had come to an agreement. I resubmitted my suggestion in MUCH greater detail and hopefuly they may even act on it :D

All I can say is.. woohoo kick arse CSR.

BTW incase you didnt know.. if you use /afk in game and then someone sends you a tell you never recieve that tell and the sender never gets told you didnt recieve it. Nasty eh :D tis a feature :P /wink

As a rule of thumb, when talking to GMs/Guides

Say hi first!

Wait for a response - they are very busy or may be AFK

Ask them you question politely.

I have had the pleasure of working/playing with a lot of the GMs/Guides (as has all of the FBT team)

I love the fact that they love the game as much if not more than the players.

So thanks to you all and the devs/admins behind the scenes, most people forget about.

After reading the above posts, the high quality of service and friendly, but firm, manor has been maintained.

Thanks for all you efforts on the events and support!

I can imagine dealing with 100's of enthusuastic games, is similar to the special art of cat herding!

*Bows to all the CSR team*

I have had two encounters with GM's two.
I was surprises too that they reacted that fast.

In Eve you mostly didnt hear anything and in SWG it mostly
took some days before they did anything.

This way it almost gets fun to send in tickets :)

So im in Noobland, And this Guide walks up to me, say's hello, and asks me if i would like to answer a riddle......... Wow. Next i see a GM just standing around, watching the world go by.. Koooool. Then i have a problem :( . my Linksys Router keeps booting me.. So i ask for help. Less than 5 mins later, i see a chat window, and a gm standing there, Awsome. So we are talking away, and im disconnected :( (Bloody router). Anyway 15mins later (after doing what GM adviced) i log back to noobland. And the first thing i see is the same GM, and the message WB. (he waitted) .... Amazing.

Im still new to SOR, But i have to say the GM's are great.. :)

You mention AC2, so I wanted to mention that in my short time playing that game every bug I submitted was responded to within an hour by a GM either saying they had checked it and passed it on or wanting more info.

Yes, the CSR's do a great job here, but in my experience the AC2 guys are almost on a par.

Still prefer Ryzom though :-)
