Never had any kind of issues with the klients since the early beta2.
try to enter your account data, password and login, dont forget it's case-sensitive. if you are unsure about the data you entered, you can edit the login in one of the config files - or just simple delete the unzipped folder and unzip the chat client again to enter your data...
