Returning Player

After a very long absence, this player is returning for another round of The Saga.

I participated in SoR's late beta phase and played here until shortly after the first publish. I imagine a lot has changed since then!

I reactivated my account and started a new character last night. Her name is Miyann, a Matis, and still on the refugee island, which is good since I am still reqcquainting myself with the game.

I do want th thank Kibsword and Jarko for their replies, *hugs* to you too!

But, and I hope you will correct me if I am getting the wrong impression, would I be correct with the impression that this community has become somewhat introverted? I see over 100 views for this post (yes, I realize that does not mean over 100 people) but only 2 replies?

Are outsiders treated cooly on this forum and ingame? Or is it that I am returning after an absence? Perhaps taht I played WoW (gasp) for a time?

Forgive me if I seem forward, but that is the type of person I am, I never much cared for hiding behind pretense, so I am just out with my thoughts as a rule.

Anyway, I hope to meet many of you ingame soon.

Anyhow this community is not like that. However they may not feel like posting - welcoming you in since they may not know you verymuch. But we all do treat each other cordially in-game. But some may post and welcome you in ^^

Views are not necessarily number of views. Every time you click on the post the counter goes up.

I think the forums are pretty free and friendly

Good to see that you're open with your thoughts, although I wouldn't be so quick to gather an impression of such a unique community. Some of us *cough* myself specifically *cough* may just be seeing this post for the first time.

Ah welcome back to SoR Miyann.

Just jumped by from Leanon and clicked on read it as it`s always worth a look when old players return. Some even have fantastic stories to tell about the last months which I don`t want to miss.

I suppose some of the views came from homins like me for the same reasons and who just don`t post as it is not the forum of their community and because you would never see them ingame.

So don`t worry. Most readers are as polite as at release and before just a bit more silent perhaps hehe.
