Chapter 10 The Bond is Broken

The sky turned so dark that not even moon could shine through it. The only light in the entire jungle came from candles that appeared at the edge of the platform. The battle was now even on all sides, so it began. The Dark Visitor’s clone split ways and encircled the platform. There was no escape at all this was a battle to the death. Only the gods could stop this battle.

The visitors jumped onto the platform and gave the guardians a wicked grin. They started to toss their dagger then their sword to each other forming a circle of spinning weapons. The guardians backed up till they were back to back. The Aqua’s closed their eyes and started to magically spin their daggers in front of them. They danced in front of them like leafs in the wind. The visitors raised their eye brows in wonder while still maintaining the circle of weapons.

“Aqua what are you doing?” The Windra’s whispered tightening their grip on their pikes,
“Trust us it’s called the “Dance of the Water Flower. This attack will either kill them or break that circle. Now don’t move.” The Aqua’s whispered back as they began to chant.

A seconded later the daggers stopped in air and turn so they where pointed at a Visitors. The dagger shot forth at the Visitors, but they showed no sign of fear. The Visitors dogged the dagger just as it was about it hit their fore heads. But the Aqua’s just grinned as the daggers slid past their target.

“What are you grinning about your attack missed us?!” The Visitors yelled just as a streak of lighting past over their heads.
“Did it?” The Aqua’s yelled back with grin.

The Visitors turn their heads just as they heard something piercing the air. To their shock the daggers were coming back at them. They did a side flip to avoid the daggers, which they barely missed. To make matters worse for them their weapons fell to the ground just as they jumped out of the way.

With the circle broken and the Visitors stumbling to their feet, the guardians took off towards a different Visitors. At that moment time stood still, only the Visitors could move. They took what little time they had to grab a weapon and sneak up behind a guardian. As time started to return to normal two Visitors managed to take their place behind the new guardians. The others took defensive positions. With a crack of thunder time returned to normal again but the tables had turn for the guardians.

Before the new Windra and Aqua could tell what had happened, they could feel a dagger slightly piercing their back.

“How did you like a spell it’s called Swords of Time?
The longer its active the longer time is stopped. Lucky for us we had enough time to get behind to you. Any last words Jena scum?”
They showed no fear they only smiled as the dagger pierced their chest. When the dagger was removed they fell to the ground and with a slight whisper they said,

“You just sealed your fait. You Kittin kissing scum.”

When the other guardians saw what had just happen they ran straight at their target and slammed their weapon deep into their chest and screamed, “This is for Aqua and this is for Windra!”

As they turned to see Windra’s and Aqua’s killers who were gazing at the blood dripping from their gleaming daggers like it was a priceless gem. “What a lovely color of blood don’t you think?” The Visitors asked see the rage build up in Windra’s and Aqua’s eyes.

Still looking over their shoulder they watched her clones vanish into little black orbs that floated away into the dark sky.

She sighed and turned back to watching the glow of the candles shine on the blade and the blood that was dripping from it. She didn’t even care that the last two guardians were still living. Her last clone could take them down in no time. But little did she know that she didn’t kill the new Windra and Aqua but instead she broke the bond that weaken their power and released the spirits of Atys.

While the last clone took on the last guardians, the Visitor redid some of her breads, trying to not go crazy from boredom. While they did that the new Windra and Aqua moved their arms so they could lock hands. When they did they started to chant, the marks glowed wildly as they chanted. Using the power of water and wind as a lift they got to their feet and turn to face the Visitor, with hands still locked together.

The visitor turned to see what where the sound of water was coming from and scream with anger and fear when see saw the symbols on their hands shining through the dark.

“How are you alive, I watched you die, your blood is on this dagger, why are you alive!”
She screamed try to find her fear.

They let go of each others hands and turned to face her face to face.

“We thank you for breaking the bond that tied our power to our emotion and free the spirits of Atys. Oh by the way to didn’t stab our physical bodies, you hit the spirits body.”
Her hands tightened around her dagger as she yelled “Well that me be true but you won’t live through his attack.”
She then spun the dagger in her hand and tossed it at Windra, but Windra dodge it.

Just as the old Windra and Aqua finished off the clone they heard a sound that made them jump with fear.

“I will rip your soul out of your body you horrid little mages. I’ll make your death as painful as possible!” The visitor screamed in the darkest voice anyone had ever heard.

It even made the new Windra and Aqua eyes go wide. “Dark Storm!” She yelled raising her hands above her head.

The sky turned pitch-black and the candles blew out. Darkness covered the platform like fog. With in moments the Visitor was gone. The only thing in sight was the aura from the other guardians.

“Nice spell but it won’t work on us; we know how this spell works. You’re using darkness as a cover so you can sneak up on us.” The guardians said keeping calm even tho fear was traveling up their backs.

“I know, I wanted to have some with you guys, but the funs is over and know I must wipe you from Atys for ever.” The visitor cried from behind the old Aqua.

Aqua quick shot a bolt of water in the Visitors direction. The Visitor let out a cry.

“You’ll pay for that Aqua, you destroyed my left sleeve!” She cried

. “You let your guard down by talking.” Aqua said in a calm voice, but quickly moving to a different spot when she finished.

The guardians said nothing, did nothing; they only listen for any noise. They did this for what seemed like an hour, till the new Windra shot waves of wind in every directions hoping to the visitor.

“Show yourself you coward, you’re wasting our time we have to get back to our friends.” The other three guardians boomed will shielding them selves from Windra wind waves.

A dagger pierced the air and hit the platform with a loud crash at the old Aqua feet. This was the last straw for the guardian’s time was sort and they must return to the living realm.

The new Windra had it, he couldn’t stand this battle any longer, it was time finish it. With this the new Windra drew a rune circle in the air in front of him and clapped his hands together and yelled

“Circle of Wind!”

Nodding his head to tell the other to do the same, and they did with out a second thought, they could see what Windra was going to do in his ocean blue eyes.

“Circle of Water, Circle of Spiritual Winds, Circle of Spiritual Water. By the powers of wind and water we call on you Crystal Water Siren come to our side and destroy this demon of shadows.”

They all boomed as a void formed in the circle they had formed. Out of the void came a blinding light that took the form of a Woman. She spun once and then spread out her arms and boomed in a pure and gentle voice, “I am the Crystal Water Siren, what to you wish me to do for you Jena’s Guardians.” Doing her best to stay in the shadow the Visitor got a better view of what had just happened.

In the rune circles stood a woman as tall as a mountain, she had no clothes; she was just the shell of a woman body. She glowed a white-blue and had an aura of purity and love. Below her was a void that looked like a star filled sky. When she turn and faced the area were the Visitor was, an orb of light fluttered around her like leafs in the wind. Before she knew what was happening the The Crystal Water Siren was spinning her hand in a circle above the Visitors head and was chanting.

Mean while the guardians stood still focusing all their energy in the void. Their legs began to shake as more and more energy left their bodies. The new Windra soon fell to his knees in weakness; the new Aqua fell shortly after. The Visitor watched the two fall and jumped out of the shadows and ran straight at Aqua with her dagger at the ready. The Siren saw the visitor go after Aqua and she quickly slammed her hand down in front of the Visitor and she boomed,

“Be purified you fallen Tryker!”

Her hand did no damage to the platform or Aqua but sent the Visitor flying back off the platform and right into a tree.

“It is done, may Jena blessings be with you.”

The Siren boomed as she wrapped her arms around her chest and spun back into the void. When the siren was out of sight the void closed and the new Aqua and Windra collapsed. The other two just stood their and watch the sky clear as moon’s come into view. Aqua rested her head on her brother’s shoulder and said,

“Its over, do you think the young ones will be able to fill our shoes?”

Windra still starring at the sky replied “Yes, they may not look it but they’re more powerful then us.”

They continued to stare at the sky till they heard a weak but happy voice, it was the Visitor.

“Thank you for freeing me from the shadows, I am ever grateful to all of you. I have a request for you, I’m a Silt and I want you to tell the chief that Sa’Be’Cena died an honorable death. Thanks again.”

With that she laid her head against the tree, wiped the blood from her face, and closed her eyes. She died shortly after that and Aqua began to cry on her brother as he held her. The new Windra and Aqua weakly set up as the Aqua started to cry, Windra turn his head from Sa’Be’Cena and held his sister close as she started to cry too. Both Windras said at the same time

Great story I enjoyed reading it very much. My favorite part is the Crystal Water Siren. Can you tell why? I like the new style you adapted to your writing; it is easily legible and depicts a nice image in ones head. Keep up the good work. :)

I glad you like it Trixie, The Crystal Water Siren is one of the greastest spells the guardians have ever cast. In the next chapter the Jena will explain what the Water Siren is and how the New Windra and Aqua know it.

I like this new style too it helps me find a lot of my spelling mistakes. So I'll keep writing in this style.
