Re: Band of The Hawks' outpost is under attack
Aedan Artisans has declared war on the Whirling Stronghold outpost of the Band of the Hawks in Loria. While there are few, if any, finer homins than Kenshiro, we feel that it is not in the best interests of Trykers, who are mainly Karavaneers, to have half of their finest resources held and hoarded by a guild of 6 Kamists. In addition, Kenshiro is actively joining Kamists in fighting at other outposts, including fighting for the outpost of the reportedly one-homin Kamist guild Eyeing Ewe Up - is their any greater example of how Kamists do not value fairness and justice for homins? Possibly Infinity's two level 250 outposts? Next they will be fighting to give outposts to the kitin! The Band of the Hawks is not acting as Neutrals in our view. We regret attacking the Hawks, but they only obtained this outpost because of the luck of camping in a favorable timezone, not as a birthright or any other deserved entitlement.
To be fair, we have offered the Band of the Hawks two conditions for peace. First, they can renounce Kamism and join the Church of Jena. Second, they can pledge to deliver 10k of crystals daily for distribution to the Trykers without outposts. If they do not agree with either, the attack will go forward.
Veni Vidi Vici has joined Aedan Artisans in sponsoring this attack. We hope to gift significant and continuing amounts of crystals to other Tryker and Karavaneer guilds and individuals without outposts. Please join us in taking control of this very important Lakeland outpost for the greater benefit of Trykers and Karavaneers. We are a small guild and will ensure that much of the crystals are spread outside of our guild to reward our allies and allow them to train more quickly.
The attack is scheduled for Wednesday from 8:00-10:00 pm US EST. The defense level is only 8 now and will, I believe, drop to 7 by the attack. I call to all homins of good will, who believe in the fair use of the precious resources of Atys for the good of homins, to join Aedan Artisans in taking this outpost. Please all Karavans and Trykers help us gain Whirling Outpost for the good of homins and the glory of Jena. Also, Pero's birthday is coming up soon, and after the sad collapse of his massive statue, we need something for a good present!
Sincerely yours,
Riveit, Ambassador of Aedan Artisans

Re: Band of The Hawks' outpost is under attack
I find it quite odd and OoC for Infinity to support a guild that has not pledged to the Kami... We will be watching this quite closely.
I see neutrals as the biggest threat in Atys as they seem to change sides at will. The Karavaneers and Kamist's should both desire to prevent them from holding resources that our icons may need to support their plans.

Yes, I must agree with DT. We have heard from Aeden Artisans...
Let us hear from Band of the Hawks... Tell us your position, are you happy to have the Kami rule your world? Please explain your recent actions, as they clearly appear in support of the Kami powers.
If you are going to scream death to the Karavaneers do so, but do it loud and clear.

Actually, they are kami. Not sure how loudly they prounounced this to Atys, but they do not hide their kami allegience.
However, RP-wise, this is contradictory for certain attacking guilds who are members of the H.O.P.E. Alliance...

Re: Band of The Hawks' outpost is under attack
lol Riveit What u say is completely wrong.
I chose Kami and i went to defense Kami's outposts. Thats what i should do while i choose a faction else i would be a liar toward my choice.
I never agreed though or contributed to any kind of attack against other outpost, I personally am against expansion and thats why all hawks went to defend only from whats being attacked or taking an outpost from Marauding Pirates (initial npcs). I personally can accept attacking only as a Retaking procedure cause else it goes against our (Hawks) morality of sharing and respect.
Hawks already helped also in 2 cases war to be avoided in both kara and kami outposts and i am glad of that but i dont think it will be good to reveal the names. But i am sure some people will remember it
Also personally I think that Tryker must stay off battle and especially between us cause i remember clearly that i helped outposts no matter their choice of being kara or kami in Tryker land. And the same did other trykers as well which i respect a lot.
I respect guilds and i respect their choices, but for me the faction choice is not something that will split hominity in my heart, whatever u think rather that from my actions of doing things is false interpretation cause i just explained the full detailed way hawks do things atm related to outposts and factions.
I also want to mention that i never even bother to read your rules on how i can avoid the attack for two simple reason:
1) I cant listen to logic by people who first declare war and then tell their terms. If u want to negotiate something u should have waited before u push that Declare War button. Cause atm your msg u sent me only seems Blackmailing to me. And Hawks arent weak in heart.
2) Words Respect and such as the ones u used toward my name or my guild i dont want to hear them again cause those words my friend are actions, not words... And so far your declare war is enough action to justify the kind of respect u have toward me or my guild. I wish u luck to u and your allies.
But stop trying using our names with your false interpretations unless u have discussed first and understand who we are and what we do.
PS. I dont plan on posting anything else here, i just wanted to inform atys of this attack and not defend the image of my guild or something like that. Each guild and homin can choose his/her way of actions, thats not for me to judge.
Hawks over and out.... The rest ingame....

Your position seems to be that the guilds that successfully camped the outposts to declare first (while many of us homins were unavailable) are entitled to own them forever - whether this is a one homin guild or one guild owning several outposts. I differ with you in this philosophy. Such is the difference between democracy in the Lakelands and the oppressive religious kingship of the Kami lands.retep004 wrote:I never agreed though or contributed to any kind of attack against other outpost, I personally am against expansion and thats why all hawks went to defend only from whats being attacked or taking an outpost from Marauding Pirates (initial npcs). By the way, I would like to greatly applaud Evolution in releasing their second outpost to the Ballistic Mystix. There has been no finer act of hominism!
I warned you and Dalin that failing to share the resources of the Lakelands by a small Kamist guild would lead to an attack. I also tried to /tell you and Dalin but you neither of you were available. As you say, I did announce the attack to you in a message. If you wish to discuss the terms, contact myself or Pero.retep004 wrote:I cant listen to logic by people who first declare war and then tell their terms. I am pleased to announce to Atys that the H.O.P.E. Alliance has decided to put their hope in Jena. All guilds of the H.O.P.E. Alliance (with the possible exception of the Sirens whom I have not heard from) have chosen to become Karavaneers. Some of us burn with the holy fire of the newly converted, while others were dragged kicking and screaming toward the light. Those dual grooves in the Lakeland sand may not be sleigh tracks but rather the tracks of Tryker boots trying to dig in their heelsambika wrote: However, RP-wise, this is contradictory for certain attacking guilds who are members of the H.O.P.E. The H.O.P.E. charter will be amended in due course. Jena be praised!

Alrighty then! I was about to say "so odd".
