I'm a bit confused here... what is the difference ( besides graphic ) between a rifle / bowrifle and a launcher / autolauncher?
I also read that Tryker guns get 24 shots to the clip... is that true or a dirty rumor?
Also, sometimes I get hit by ranged mobs with shockwave or poison damage or something... is that a function of the gun or of the ammo? Just curious.

Tryker get pistol clips with 24 shots...
Rilfe is at 12
Launcher at 6
The crafting itself is a bit different. Pistol clips are crafted with 20 bullets, launcher with 3 bullets...a bug in my opinion.

I notice this as well. What I'd like to see is the ability (especially for ammo) to be able to craft in quantity. What I mean, is more than one clip at a time, if the very same materials are being used.
I go through a lot of ammo, & while crafting, crafting in itself seems buggy. I'll be using store bought comps (the materials aren't changing) and after crafting one clip, materials will de-select from the menu. Nothing major, but please, save us the time. If the materials will be the same, allow multiple crafting jobs to be done at one time.
I don't craft much outside of ammo & ranged weapons, but when grinding for experience, I imagine many of the other crafting classes would feel the same.
Along the same line, if any given ammo clips have the exact same (or nearly the same) stats, why not allow use to combine these into one. Ammo switching aside from pulling & actual combat seems absurd. The delay isn't much, but for the added convience, this would be a great feature.

Nobody knows what the differences are between the types though?
Do all the races except Zorai get those big clips? And what is the mat count on them? Zorai get 12 shots for nine mats ( or did in beta anyway) and if other races are getting twice as many shots for the same mat count that seems really unbalanced... and if I craft ranged I'll just take one of those instead.

it's still 3 mats to make 4 shots/12 round clip for 9 mats. Can confirm both Zorai piercing pistol and zorai slashing rifle ammo as being like that.needle wrote:Nobody knows what the differences are between the types though?
