Hi, just DLed the game last night and cant get it to run. keeps giving me a runtime error when i attempt to resart game after the patch. Anyone have a similar problem or have some advice?
I tried reinstalling my nvidia drivers as Zerlin instructed above but im still gettin the same error. I also tried looking for the network manager mentioned in a different post below but had no luck there either( despite running several searches)
I've also tried disabling my virus prot and firewall.

Re: runtime error
In the SoR root folder, find and run "ryzom_recover.exe". They recommend you do this up to 5 times... try that and then we can try other things if needed.

Re: runtime error
If you try ryzom_recover, then be sure to delete the Unpack folder first, and then run RR 5 timesvguerin wrote:In the SoR root folder, find and run "ryzom_recover.exe". They recommend you do this up to 5 times... try that and then we can try other things if needed.

Re: runtime error

Re: runtime error
What exactly is the error that you are getting?
Please email the log.log and client.log files from the Ryzom folder to support-ee@ryzom.com and we will have a look.
Things to try:
- scan your system thoroughly for viruses and spyware and then disable antivirus software while patching
- if you don't have WinXP SP 2, make sure that DirectX 9.0c is up to date
- remove video drivers, reboot, reinstall video drivers
- instead of relaunching, exit the game to allow the files to flush from the disk cache to the hard disk, then launch game again
