Cant get client to launch

Hi all, really would like to try out the game, so I downloaded the 7 Day trial, installed it, updated it, but it's refusing to launch again. I've already run through the 'delete unpack, run recover 5 times' thing with no luck.

Closest I got was by running 'update_nl.bat' and that didn't run right and deleted some files, so I reinstalled not replacing any existing files. This time an updated client would run and it tried to get some another update, got it, patched, client wouldn't launch again!

Any help on this would be nice! I'm not getting any error messages, client just doesn't lauch. I just get 'client_ryzom_rd.exe' in the task manager which I have to kill.

Run dxdiag and save the information into a file and email to support-ee@ryzom.com so I can see the details on your hardware and OS. You can also send client.log and log.log from the Ryzom folder.

Will do when I get home tonight. I can tell you right now that the log.log only has 2 lines it with what look to be debug statements about trying to connect to a crash server (or something like that).

Forgot to mention. If I kill the process and relaunch the app I do get the popup asking why the program terminated incorrectly, but as soon as I click anything the window goes away and nothing happens.

And a quick spec of my machine, will post the dxdiag print out later.
nVidia GeForce 6600 GT (driver 77.84)
Create Sound Blaster 2 Audigy
1 gig of ram (may be 1.5, cant remember now)
AMD 2200+
Windows XP SP 2

I don't believe I have anything fancy going on, but again, will e-mail the complete specs when I get a chance.

p.s. I tried connecting to the Klients live chat, but could only get to stream out 'Login is only allowed by auth...'. Tried everything in the posts above to try and fix all with out any luck.

YEAH! After many hours and trials later its finally working! I hope this new patch doesn't break it again though.
