Startup Error

just DLed the 7 day free trial ... trying to get it up and goin now ... but ... when i try and start the game ... i get a message saying "Can't create a window display (1024x768 32 bits)" would like to get some info on this one lol... driving me insane ... don't want to waste any of my trial battling this lol...

start with the obvious thing first ;) is your screen resolution set to at least that?

If you have some sort of onboard video chip like Intel, SiS or some of the lower end ATI then you will get this error. You will also get it if you have an ATI Rage or original GeForce card. You will not be able to run Ryzom with these lowere end graphics devices.

Check your windows display adapter settings. And like Rushin suggested, make sure that your desktop resolution is at least 1024x768 at 32 bit before launching the game.

Try coming into Klients to get some real-time help too :) Problems like this are probably solved more quickly with "face to face" conversations ;)

ahhhh... gotchya ... it's the Graphix card i have =0) and yupper ... tried to run it in about every res i have lol... well ... when i go to fry's for the card ... i'll have to pick up a coppy of the game if they carry it ... betta tested it ... loved the combat and spell customization of the game ... so gotta try it out lol...
