I've done about 4 or 5 missions for Fyros and only 2 fame. I do, however die alot. I was wondering if they were related.

I know that I needed to kill a gongo, I ran up killed him, got killed by his buddies and didn't get the fame point, even though I 'finished' the mission.

Do cash missions give fame too?

only missions that seem to give fame all the time* to me are bandit missions




*ie they change the fame score by 1 point as every mission changes ur fame by a bit even when its not a full point

Yes, you get an amount of fame for every mission, regardless of you get money for it or not.

I believe that the exact amount of the fame you get, depends on the type of mission, the difficulty of the mission (compared to you level) and your actual personal fame.

A good guess is, that 'kill the nasty bandits' missions give more fame, than kill the herbivours missions.

Missions give a percentage of fame. Sometimes that's enough to knock you over 1 point, other times it's not.

Look for missions where the person says "i will be greatful" or "i will be very greatful". Those tend to give better fame. And, as weedakos said, the missions to kill bandit tribes seem to be best of all.

I usually look for bandit tribe missions where the mission giver says "...and I will be very greatful" and often find missions that give a full point each.
