dont forget there are also some guilds that are specifically neutral and take a stand for fighting for homin welfare!

The first one that springs to mind is Evolution who are as it happens a tryker based guild.

Contact their guild leader Sxarlet for more info if a non-factionalised existance appeals to you!

Not sure anyone would want to join a guild that is either gone or threatening to. Before you go looking for Evolution, take a look in THIS thread to see if that is what you want.

Otherwise just as stated by others already, join a guild you see playing during the times you play and that want to play the game in a similar style as you.

There was nothing negative in that post, and AFAIK I didn't mislead anyone. Everyones statements are there in that thread... since someone had made the recommendation to a new player I thought it appropriate to point out Ali may not be keeping up with the forums

Yeah, speaking of not keeping up on the forums that is only one of many threads by evolution members.

Thanks evolution for being the ones to bring us today's fine event. It is good to see some guilds like evolution keeping the community in this game.

I would recomend a neutral guild then if you are looking for friendly, because those Faction aligned guilds can get pretty mean. Out of Cavern is a friendly guild, we embrace all as if they were family. Look for a link to our site in my sig. We are also mostly matis, but have no official racial status. If you need anything send me a tell, or anyone else, just say you are interested in the guild. /tell Keiko, Sekhmet, Lathaniel, Navra, Amcyr. Wish you luck in finding a guild.

I read the forums everyday like most people, just cos i dont post everyday doesnt mean im not up-to-date. And i do realise Evo are going through some hard times with some well established players leaving! This however does not mean that Evo has gone or are planning to "go under". All is definitely not lost with Evo

Sxarlet did say she was worried but i dont believe she is about to give up on all her hard work with evo, especially at such a critical time in the game!

So i recommended Evo, Why? Because maybe they are thinking of some kinda recruitment strategy to boost morale within their guild at this time (not that i even know what their morale is like - i like you will only know what i have seen on the forums).

im just trying to help out what i consider a very friendly guild that have always been about fun. Even though i have no real association with them, i have always respected them and i know that if Evolution goes under it will be a great loss to this game!
