what matters more the stats of the gun or the stats of the ammo?

You'll want to go for speed on rifle and damage on ammo
Range on rifle is also very handy ofcourse and dodge modifyers.

They do, but you wont see that zero changed, its disabled i think, doesnt add to dodge in p screen either.

But..you get it as a bonus going for speed and ranged on rifle usually gave me nice dodge bars too, its more the thought for if it ever is activated or something lol the dodge stuff.
