I will leave it to others to analyze what this means in the larger scope of things, Im simply reporting this as I saw it from my limited vantage point, in the belief that it is news worth reporting. Enjoy
The scene:
Deep in the dismal depths of the Prime Roots, below the towering edifice of Windy Gate Column, powerful forces mustered as spring drew to a close. Several strong contingents formed up under their respective banners - a strong Infinity team, a Serenity Accord joint task force of ON and AP veterans, a Legion of Atys squad, and a Kings of Oblivion strike force were among the many facing off. The air crackled with the collective energies of highly skilled wielders of elemental, healing, and affliction magicks . . . supreme amps of every design pulsed on nearly every homins hands . . . the potential fury that could soon be released was staggering. Great Voraxes charged blindly in upon the assembled armies, able to sow fear but doomed by their inability to feel it themselves - they were cut down in seconds, their hulking carcasses littering the landscape.
And so the anticipated time came . . . a subtle shift in the subterranean breeze signaled summers dawning . . . shards of supreme amber thrust up from the moist earth, a vast treasure there for the taking . . . long-standing adversaries stared each other down, and there was time for one last deep breath before . . .
. . . before everyone broke out their picks and peacefully harvested the supernode dry, in about three minutes. Alas, a skirmish broke out not long into the second-tier harvest of excellent amber - but even that was limited in scope.

very nice and funny reading, we were in GoO running around and eying each other suspiciously. But in the end, crossguild teams formed and we harvested in peace.
