A couple of questions

Post by zidro »

Hiya I'm new here. I have a question about how to do things like..

How do I switch between the chat window and going back to using my keys as hotkeys. Meaning when I press J I would like my tasks window to be displayed instead of the letter J appearing in my chat box.

In the tasks box, every time it tells me to go to talk to so and so or whatever, how do I get that person to show up on my map so I know where to find him easier?

If you're in chat mode, hitting the Enter key or ESC should get you out of it. There is a configuration option that will keep the Enter key from actually making you exit the chat window but I believe that's turned off by default. Check the internal game configuration options for that.

You can't get them to show on the map. However, many missions will put the target NPC in your radar. If you right-click in the radar, there's a "Mission" category and under that, you'll see the NPC listed. There are some missions where this doesn't happen, however. I just treat that as part of the challenge :)
