Blank chat windows/progression and Identity windows

I have a P43 1.99 mhz,512m,radion 7500 (64 megs), dial up connection.

I'm getting (coming and going in player to player) Blank chat windows and progression icon discriptions and Identity windows I have yet to see!!

what do i need to do to fix this problem?

Other wise the game is great so far!!

The 7500 is really old tech by gaming standards.

Go into the game configuration:
- disable all of the advanced graphics options
- force OpenGL mode
- lower all of the graphics options (you can turn things up as this stabilise)

In Windows Display Adapter options:
- slide OpenGL to 'Performance' end of things
- same for Direct3D

Make sure you have as many other apps switched off as possible as 512 MB is on the lower end of things for Ryzom. Also make sure that your paging file is at least 1500 MB in size and setting it to 1500 min/max will speed things up.

Removing, rebooting and reinstalling video drivers never hurts.

If you have WinXP SP2 firewall enabled you may want to check out the Network FAQ on how to add an exception for the game client (just in case this is a synching problem.)

And yet another thing to look into is corrupt data files - use the 'CHECK DATA' button on the launcher.
