Seriously, when can i get off the newbie island? It's so lonely there and getting a little boring. Granted I don't know everything there is to know about the game as yet (ie: stanzas) since I just started playing, but i've raised my levels up a bit. Do I really have to stay there until all my stats are 20??

btw, does anyone from North America play this game anymore?

Its a choice, its easyer to level up on the island but if youre too bored to be entertained, you can go to mainland at level 1, just make some firends and make sure to hunt in team, theres usually a lot of people willing to help even outside team.

Ok, maybe im a bit impatient. Just feels like i'm stalling. I'll give it a bit longer and level up more *sigh*.

You can make another character and send him at lvl 1 to check how it is in mainland. Then you can choose to remain for while or follow him to mainland.

Zorai of course! (if anyone knows where i can find some nics pics of forum avatars let me know). I like the idea of sending a level1 alt to the mainland to check it out. I wish it gave you the option of going back if you had to, but oh well. I'll try it out when i get home from work.

Personally I think newbie island is overrated. But if you're zorai, that's especially true. There is virtually no aggro around the zorai towns.

Huh - there's virtually no aggro around Zora (the main city in Witherings) either! Can you imagine how 3 trykers felt after playing in the original aggro of the Winds of Muse area and then touring zorai-land? Wussville!

Vote yourself off the island asap. Noob island isn't very helpful and anything you can hunt on the island, you can hunt on the mainland. As Saiwin mentioned, it is especially true if you are Zorai as those lands are the safest of the four if you're sticking close to town so you have little fear of being overwhelmed when you get there. On the mainland you'll find more knowledgeable people to help your learning curve and definitly more people to team with so come join the party!
