There's a planet to be fixed out there

Post by cloudy97 »

Homins!

It is a pleasure to be assigned to the king's forests, let us together form them to our needs. It is the wish of Jena to clear Atys of evil and rebuild what was lost, it is our duty to follow her.

I am overwhelmed by the generosity of our people, even to a youngling as myself. I thank you, my brethren.

For beauty, for Jena! For Atys and Matis!

// Whoa! This game is really different from my previous experiences in the Static World of Warcraft.

I haven't seen any roleplaying, but I haven't looked for it really... The usual RP stereotypes is (more or less) left out of the game, which feels good, but how does it affect portraying a character? Is there people playing out the racial conflicts of the setting?

The economy, in WoW money was a BIG issue, it's not like that here? The issues is the threat from the environment, the kitins and getting fame. So it is more a cooperative game than one of conflict, right?

Seems there is a friendly and more mature playerbase here too. See you all!

you're gonna fit right in, cloud :)

Roleplaying is real easy to get into, especially with such a nice living world and great artworks. For instant, you can *easily* start a conversation by making fun of how short the Trykers are, how pale the Matis is, or how Smurfy smurf the Zorai smurf.

Can't make fun of Fyros sadly, they're perfect :(

p.s. the economy could use some boosting, but it's by far better than WoW with rats dropping teeny swords outta their teeny pouches.

Welcome,

economy is quite different here. Currency and equipment is not such a thing like it is in WoW.
It is the wish of Jena to clear Atys of evil...
Good idea. Start with the dogs outside Yrkanis :D

Calling a Tryker small is not roleplaing but stupid. Cause we dont care what others say about us :D

Oh... and Fyrx. get a bath, a shave and a haircut. Then you are probably perfect ;)

We, Matis, have learned to appreciate the little things in life. We'll be happy to stand by your side and fight, Tryker. Just jump up as high as you can and hit the enemy's kneecaps.

Fyrx, I am not going to mock your race, it wouldn't be fair. The Zoraï found a way to look better, surely they can lend you a mask too.

//Thanks for the welcome,

Seen the spring of Atys now. Very pretty. //

I see, you are a young matisian homin and you do not know your history well.
The matisian nobility slaved us in the past. But we are free now, cause we smashed their kneecaps quite well. But we kept our happyness and are friends with every Matis who is accepting us as free homins.

ooc: Yes, enjoy the seasons. Hope you soon will visit Trykers homeland, the atysian Florida :) . I played WoW early this year and i know Atys can be a ease of pain ;)

While we are deprived a sense of smell, this will always be true.

the different races have differing philosophies and approaches to life.

the Zorai are spiritualistic and unworldly

the Tryker are hedonistic and independant

the Matis are manipulative and arrogant

the Fyrosians... enjoy hitting things

Matisians RULE !! ( maybe not yet, but one day :D )

Like those nasty humans in a place called Earth, Fyros are descendant from monkey...er Frahar. "Get your hands off me you damned dirty ape!".

Tryker, on the other hand, are as perfect as the lovely lands of Atys. :D
