The reboot doesn't seem to have helped on my end. Region chat on the Matis starter island was very quiet except for people occasionally saying they were logging off because they couldn't go two steps without hitting the "FS Lost/Probing/Synchronizing/Connected" pattern. I don't know if it's as bad for people with broadband, but it's utterly unplayable for me on dial-up right now. Conditions seem to be exactly the same as they were before the server came down.

Im on cable and it didnt help me either. Its on NEVRAX to fix this fast before they lose customers and get a bad rep.

Plangent,

Is NA running on the new server farm in North America?

We were aware it was to move this week and if it did, that would explain why the lag is so bad.

Almost like a loose connection on new hardware.

I also had to log out this morning early. It was not too bad when I logged in but after about 15 minutes I had the link box more than the game.

I wish you good luck in tracing this problem down. New stuff does present a challenge.

Lets all hang in there. Its just the agony of getting everything to function as expected. :) :)

Is someone casting slow attack or slow move on the server? If so, kick them.

The last two nights I noticed an increase in packet loss on the network window in the game. Pings were acceptable in the 150-400 range but the spikes of 4-6% packet loss were causing much rubberbanding.

I have yet to run a trace on the server and see where the problem seems to be, but I am guessing there is a boarder router someplace that is causing this... it is always a boarder router :(

Yes, my roomie is playing now as I am surfing the web, and I am hearing the aggravated sighs from the game. Anyone in Tryker Island is complaining because of rubberbanding on a consistent basis.

I hope they have moved the farm the lag has been so bad we rerolled to get off the mainland couldn't take it, at least noobland was managable.

Yes, please get the farm fixed, or find something, I don't know how much more we can take.

It's hard to avoid aggro when you're rubber-banding. I take a step forward and either go backwards or move forward so fast I can't stop in time to stay out of the way of that scowling gingo...
