ok i went to mainland with 33melee/29magic and with a friend we had a hard time like everyone else has been saying. a dramatic decrease in xp and increase in mob HP's and damage.
so anyway, here is my question. say when you are 15 melee on noobland and you fight and kill a kipee you get 3k xp give or take. now, same character at 25 melee kills same kipee and gets 1k xp give or take.
while i was on mainland i was getting about 3k xp for a moderate kipee at my lvl. if i waited for 10 more lvls would i be getting 1k for that same kipee kill or does the xp lvl out as you get higher?
i realize there are still a lot of bugs regarding the xp mobs give, the xp you get when a mob is at a percentage of full health when you start the fight and death penalty calculations. i'm not even gonna try to figure out what nevrax has in mind for the correct figures and i'm sure it'll all get worked out very soon.
just wondering if i should reroll, maybe try to fix some of the "learning curve" mistakes i made in specializing, save up more money and lvl up before heading over this time.
don't take these as critical remarks. i think this is a very good game i'm hooked, at least for the time being. way to go nevrax.

3k is pretty much the max xp cap. I know I did a horrid job of explaining this, but what it means to you is that the mob will probably keep giving you 3k xp per kill for at least a few levels before it starts dwindling down slowly like the ones in noobland did.

Ya, 3k is the cap -- 3k means you don't know how much exp you're really getting for killing the mob. You could come back 10 levels later and still get 3k.
Once it starts dropping though, yeah, every time you level, a mob's exp will drop by the same small proportion that it did in noobland.
