ordered the game, looking for a guild..

Well, I did it, I ordered the game and it shipped today, should have it in the next couple of days.

So now that im solid on playing this game I'm looking for a guild to run with. I decided to start over as a Zorai. My characters name is Whynter.

My goals:

- I plan on leveling all fighting, all magic, and all tradeskills (why not? theres simply no reason not to =D)

What I'm looking for in a guild

- Friendly people

- Knowledgeable players that would rather teach a man to fish rather than feed him for a day

- Teamspeak or Ventrilo

- Open to role playing but not nessicarily a guild that absolutely requires me to be in character all the time.

Welcome mate!

You are in for a great time, as The Saga of Ryzom is the best MMORPG i've played. It's not perfect, and the devs have a lot of work to do... but its leaps and bounds ahead of the competition in many aspects.

Anyway, You are a Zorai huh, very nice. I am an officer in a Fyros- based guild, Oroborus Nocturna. Even though we are based in Fyros, we have members from all time zones, and races.

We are a very friendly guild, with a lot of fun players. We are currently looking for a couple more members, that are mature players, who like to play. We have a large high-level player base. Lots of us have been here for a while, and this is why we are looking to bring some new, fresh players in. There is some Role-playing, but not tons. We can help out with any equipment you may need, but you will also be responsible to provide and help the guild achieve its common goals.

We can help you get to Fyros, The Burning Desert, whenever you need, if you are interested. You can stay in Zorai, as its where your character is based, but TBH our guild doesnt spen much time in the lower-level zones in Zorai.

Anyway, we'd love to talk to you further and see if we can help each other out. Just send a /tell Thom ingame, or an e-mail and I'll come to you.

I think the most important thing to do for long term benefit to yourself is decide where you want to fall in the "Saga" and choose a guild with the proper alignment & beliefs. Any guild worth their salt falls into all the things you speak of, but you don't want to have issues to deal with later.

Choose wisely and know what you want... the folks in the guild you choose will help you get it as they will need you to help them fulfill their part of the "Saga".

Not that much speaking in-character but many act and take decisions according to their characters goals, not just optimizing game mechanic wise.

Guild name is Abyss Eye and operates mainly in Zorai and Matis areas, but we seek to extend to other areas eventually. We have plenty of fresh arrivals from refugee islands so other newcomers should find homins in similar situation. European and US timezones are covered.

We are a large, open, friendly, neutral guild. Pretty much helpful to everyone in and out of the guild, weekly guild events, a good solid program with competent leadership. No requirements or commitments for members, 100% voluntary :0). We believe in making events and guild life fun enough that people WANT to participate in guild and the game, not force them to participate or they're booted :0P.
