Post by altomesa »

I am currently offering my services as a Q250 Light Armorer to the public. All HQ plans, all 4 races, HP or Focus add's.

The price?

175 Fiber (clothes)
175 Resin (Lining)
125 Oil (Stuffing)
125 Sap (Armor Clip)

Will work for mats only, not dappers, so please don't ask. :)

Please /tell me ingame to work out details.

600 mats * 3k average (good price even for ql250) = 1.8 million dappers

dont u think this is a bit expensive given the fact a full light armour costs something around 60 mats (if not degraded)

i agree u will have lots of degrades but well work a bit on the price pls

hey come on its not expensive! it would take 40mins or so to dig that quantity of mats. sounds cheap to me. And tbh if a few branches are much lower than 230 u'll need getting on for that many mats to deal with the degrades ;)

Grat's for providing q250 armor to the masses btw :D

I think you are misunderstanding the market. Lets assume for a moment that q250 goods are used by players who are near that level. 1.8 million dappers to a high level player is pocket change, it really is. it sounds like a fortune if u are lv100 but come on, when i have a crafting day i can make 5-6 million easy and so does everyone else. look at what boosters armors sell for. For the market to work things need to be priced appriopriately. when i buy mats to grind because i cant be bothered to dig i pay anything upto 6000 for 1 mat, sure it sounds expensive but i earn the money from my crafting, and paying this much gives dapper to the hunters also thus encouraging the market dynamic.

You think that someone who has spent months grinding up la to 250 should just give their stuff away? *sighs* sorry for ranting, but its depressing to see negative comments towards crafters as has been discussed many times before. I dont find the market rubbish, far from it. but this isnt the place to discuss it.

Even if you think it's expensive or not, it's not nice to hijack threads in the bazar. Buy or don't, bid or don't, but don't post your opinion unless the crafter asks you to. (sorry for polluting myself)

-----
I don't think it's expensive. Actually I'm slightly more expensive myself. Saying that it only takes e.g. 60 mats to craft the light armor is not accounting for degrades (still 5% with all branches at 200+, using q250 from the mastered one). And the price is not the cost of "crafting" the item, it's the cost of crafting the item + the cost it took her to get there. It's like the engineer (old urban legend) that asked 1000 dollars to screw in one lose screw in a helicopter engine. It took him 5 min diagnosing and 10 secs with a screwdriver. "1000 dollars for a 10 sec-job?" you may ask nope, 1 dollar for screwing it, and 999 for knowing which one.

i could though i didnt :p as prolly most of u know why

1/ k maybe shouldnt have reacted here, was just a basic view on the price and i do know what i am talking about being a decent crafter myself

2/was more like a general advice towards the player as la is all over the place atm (maybe not on markets, agreed)

read point 2, i'm not bullying the crafter, i'm more like putting an arguement towards good pricing wich helps him lvling his lower trees too ...

Well, if we were talking about the Q210-Q220 LA market that would be one thing. Everybody and their grandmother makes LA in that range so the prices are silly low in that range. But we're not, we're talking about the Q250 LA market here. So hey, if you can buy a full Q250 LA suit for 1.8 mill, more power to ya. When I do occasionally sell on vendors they price around 3.2-3.3 million per suit and are gone in minutes, so I'm afraid you're not gonna convince me that 600 mats is too much for a full Q250 LA suit.
