Brave Fyros, pay heed!

Our glorious Emperor Dexton speaks through me.
Greetings to the Fyros people!
Rumours of war have been heard for some time.

Since the Kami and Karavan have both, officially, recognised the truthfulness of the coming war any doubt has been pushed aside.

Jena and Ma-Duk shall be in confrontation.
More than any other of the races of Atys the Fyros people know the true face of war.

The toil, the exhaustion, the sacrifice, the bloodshed.
We also know the brotherhood, the bravery and the joy of victory.
This war may be the most terrible we have had to face, it may be the last war ever.
The homin people move now to choose their allies. The Matis shall fight alongside Jena while the Zorai shall serve the cause of Ma-Duk.

And we Fyros? To whose banner shall we be called? Shall we stay safe and anxious behind the walls of Pyr or shall we lend our strength to the battle?
I say we shall fight. We shall lend our strength to the Zorai and honour the pact with Ma-Duk.

Honour is preferable to a life of cowardice and renunciation. Honour is that which binds us as an inseperable and invincible people.
People of Fyros, I ask you to stand together.
The enemy cannot hope to overcome us by force but let us not allow other means - guile, treachery and deceit - to overcome us.
False prophets shall come to try and create discord, to weaken our resolve and Tryton shall be part of this sinister charade.

We live in the last fleeting moments of peace.
Let us take this time to remember and hour our ancestors and the great battles of the past.
Soon shall be the hour for our glory and so we must prepare.

Are we going to get to meet our King soon? Since arriving to this new civilization, I have been hoping to being able to meet and pay respect to my King, perhaps to hunt with him or join his rank, but alas he doesn't seem to have time for the common Homins.

So, the proud Fyros will join the fray on the side of the heretics.
Not because of any grevious wrong done to them by the followers of Jena.
Not because of any fierce loyalty that Ma-Duk has inspired.
Not even for plunder or riches.
Simply because they do not want to be left out of the fight.
They do not want to appear timid.

I ask again, why does Jena need us in this fight.
What reason does Ma-duk have to want homins to suffer and bleed?

the Goo devours him and the cure to his sickness? A devouring of his own, the souls and bodies of homin, foolishly loyal to him, drawn into him to stave off the sickness. Ma-Duk will become nothing more than a parasite, a bloated tick feeding on the lives of the homin. This is why Jena comes, to crush Ma-Duk before he takes your lives and souls!

Tryton be damned for revealing the plans that would have brought swift victory! Now we, the free people of Atys, must prepare for total war. This will take time and sacrifice but survival has a price. Soon we shall tell you how to prepare for the coming war.

If Ma-Duk followers step aside and let Jena destroy Ma-Duk, then yes, no war is needed. Will that happen? No. The Fyros are blind and the Zorai are blinded. (ok, that last little bit was kinda ICish )
