Please find below some information on the death penalty (DP) system and on how to reduce your DP's:

Since a few patches, death penalties decay over time. It takes 20 RL days for the maximum possible DP (around 10 deaths) to fully decay.

If you just die once however, the DP will take 10 times less to fully decay (20 days, divided by 10). Every minute the amount of DP will decrease, bit by bit.

You are now able to obtain special DP tickets, which will accelerate the process of DP decay over time (to 10, 5 or 3 RL days).

We hope this clears the death penalty system up a bit, as well as the new DP tickets, obtainable at altars. Remember that you can only see and get those tickets, if you actually have a DP at that time.
