Aimed shots question

Post by babaloui »

Can anyone tell me what the effects are for aimed shots? (aimed kittin head shot, aimed kitin rear leg shot, aimed kitin front leg shot etc...). The info button doesnt really tell you anything. Besides the effects are these things of any use? Are they fully functional (some abilities do nothing). Thanks

Now i could be wrong on this but.....my understanding is all creatures have some weaknesses. So..... if you figured those out and then built an attack to take advantage of it you could do more damage possibly. For example..... if you knew from watching attacks that Gingos take more damage when hit in the legs then anywhere else you could set up an attack to target the legs and when you fight gingos use that attack.

Again....Im not an expert on this but its how I understood it.

Also I believe that locational hits could cause extra effects like slowing a creature down, stunning them etc etc.

Kiten back legs can cause it to slow (no idea if this is slow movement/snare or slow attack).
headshots on anything can stun.

hands/arms can interrupt casting i'm pretty sure.

Head: stuns
Chest/Body: loss of stamina
Arms/Front Upper Legs: slows down attack speed
Legs/Rear Upper Legs: slows down movement
Hands/Front Lower Legs: decreases chances to hit
Feet/Rear Lower Legs: decreases chances to dodge
