Was a little bored this morning, so started to create a new character. Hmmm seems that since I created my first they've improved the process, including a bit of the lore to help you chose who you want to be.
But what really caught my attention was the animation they provided. Now the Fyros and Matis, they were ok, but to see a Zorai produce blue electicity-like spells was fun.
The best part was the Tryker. She can jump !!!
*winks* Hope we see this "soon" (tm) in game.

Yep Starter Isles are much improved.
Love the 'welcome guided missions' - followed them through even had to go out and find someone to heal (which was suprisingly easy, considering the doom and gloomers saying there is nobody there )
I think it took about 8hrs play time (not consentrated, I was there to relax) I had lvl20+ in fight, magic, harvest. Craft at around 15, made made my own weapons and amps (ql20) and some armour pieces.
Mob placement was good, didn't take long to be in a position to solo everything (didn't risk Kipee solo and I wanted to do the 'Team mission', which contained a little story. So I found a new friend and we kicked kitin for a bit. I liked that a lot. It even gave an explaination of FAME)
Self poping sources plentiful, and choice resources were resonablely easy to find. Still looking for choice fiber, but I guess thats cas I was getting a little lazy at that point. Found Big Shell, Oath Bark, Tansy Node, Beng amber, Moon resin, Dung Resin, Irin oil etc so Good weapons, amps and armour are there for the making.
Saw about 5-10 different people throughout the day, a number of which were existing players, trying a new race or back to help
Guess If I was a first timer, it wouldn't take me as long as it did in the beta to get to know my way around.
The funny thing was, that it felt small on the starter isle, but thats just cas I am a little 'well travelled' now. I remember attempting a town to town journey in Beta and it seem to take forever to get there.
