Interesting financial model, the expansion is free but you have to play if you want other people to play.

I'm glad to hear that participating in the government is part of the plan. I don't even mind if DCC is the only one that gets to play Emperor...just as long as I get to be Grand Sage.

I have to say reading the detail in the 'interview', sounds just perfect

Maps for fun to start - No XP trasfer back into game (hope this includes mats etc) as will prevent exploitation.

Free tools, but a hosting charge - simply perfect. The servers won't be cluttered with junk and a nice revenue stream for Nevrax.

Based on the exprience with Half-life and Counter-Strike, the chance of finding the 'special people' out there that give time that create great software is high.

I can see this as a way of creating breaks from the grind, a chance to set challanges for friends/guilds.

Simple ideas:

A Mekki race track
A Yubo playing field
A capture the flag style arena (towns with kami allies and towns with karavan allies)
Treasue hunt maps with find the materials
Ninja challange - a map where sneaking is possible, but only for the brave
Clear the map - a map with 24hr respawn times, can you kill everything?
The ultima wedding site or honey moon heaven.

Complex ideas:

Tribe wars - place opposing tribes on a map, pick a side or just sit back and what them fight it out.

To be honest, there are millions of side games that could be added.

To all the 'I want content peeps', here is a chance for you to demo what you mean by 'content'.

Neun is very sorry he said that and hopes beyond hopes that all will be forgiven and forgotten when he wakes.

Hurting people close to him was a partly why hes sleeping.

I have to say though the thought of creating the 'ultimate' wedding location for the most beautiful lady in all of Atys has stirred him.

I guess you can create your own map but you can use all kind of landmarks and objects from existing Ryzom maps.
