I have just played 2 new betas.

Having started the recent thread about the game description & the facts, I would now like to balance it. I have just played Dungeon siege 2 beta & Dragonshard beta. SoR might be boring, pedantic, slow to evolve etc but it is 20 times better than either of those games.
I was looking for a pleasant surprise with these 2 new games but the surprise was def not pleasant. Ryzom is graphically generations ahead of both.
Therefore its back to the usual........if only!!!

OMG you played DS2 beta!
though its only good maybe for a weekend or two i expected it to be really pretty and intersting like the first one

yeah Ryzoms prettiness is key, but im surprised that it will remain at the top of my list for a few years

strange, GW is like an improvement on WoW but still not immersive, and the characters look like they were copied directly from Tantra Online.....

Graphically Ryzom is an amazing peice of work. There is a ton of artistic talent put into the game.
