Aeion Lyan seen in Fyros Lands

We have reports that the grizzled and venerable Fyros sage Aeion Lyan has been seen again passing through his homelands.

A veteran wanderer who has seen many changes on Atys since the time of Elias,
Aeion is known for his cryptic pronouncements on Homin history and civilisation using knowledge amassed on his tireless wanderings over the face of Atys. It is expected that he will speak a few words in Pyr over the weekend - watch out for him closely as he does not often pass this way!

I would be honoured to meet such a venerable traveller. I aspire to have explored for as long as Aeion. I will await his arrival in Pyr patiently.

I have waited in Fyros all day for Aeios to arrive and there has still been no sign. Perhaps he will arrive tomorrow. I do hope that the machinations of the twins have not affected his visit.

Greetings, Homins of all races. I pass rarely through the cities of our lands in my constant travels over Atys. As I find myself in Pyr, I have decided to share some of the knowledge I have gleaned on my travels. My guild and I wish you to know more of your past and your future and what these mean for your present. Some of this may sound cryptic at first hearing, but the meaning is there for those who can See.


“Know that you were born with the seed of life which allows your soul to be born again. You may not see this seed, but I promise you it exists as a part of your very being and grants the grace of rebirth to all Homins.”

“The seed of life thrives in the fertility of your faith within. Kami or Karavan; all possess this gift and are reborn accordingly”

“As the wind bears seeds to the four corners of the world, so your seed of life can carry your soul. Think well on how easily you travel the wide lands of Hominkind.”

“As you must care for the seeds of life to prevent their fall to Atys; keep watch on the stars lest they fall from the firmament. Be united and care for each other, since a greater threat to the Homin races may loom overhead.”


Homins look carefully all around you - as we clean our houses in the spring so does the living planet. There are certain objects that were lost in the planet's distant past, in the ages of legend during the transformation of our world. These objects are from time to time removed by the planet, thrust up from the depths to litter the surface of Atys for all to find. Ad the planet grows and cleanses itself for spring - search the lands closely - you may be surprised by what you will find!

I was most pleased to hear such great tidings from one so knowledgable! Homins are no longer in debted to the Karavan or the Kami for there services, further than the technology or magic they use to recorporealise our unending spirits! Studiers of the Kami and Karavan alike, hear me! If we can learn these knowledges we will have no further need for either of these races! We can loose these disguised bonds of slavery, the elusive chains that these creatures have placed around us with the appearance of guarding and teaching us. They hold back their knowledge? Why!? No longer will I feel I owe the slightest fealty to either side. They could not save my family, yet homins did. They can not erase the kitin threat, (as shown during the invasion, where was their "help" then?!) but we homins can!

Of late, all over the world, guilds of proud homins have been doing what seemed impossible. Bandits have been slain, lost resources discovered and exploited for the good of all homins! Many of us already tread the path to knowledge without realising it. We are on the path to something greater, friends, and it will not be the Karavan who take us there. Or the Kami. It will be homins themselves.

Ahh, sometimes I get this voice in my head telling me to preach to you homins. I am sure I am preaching to the converted in many cases. Forgive me my quick words and temper, I am but a humble servant to all.

As for the gifts that littered the surface of Atys, it was a shame their sparkley goodness distracted me so! I forgot to talk privately with Aeion, so intent was I on hunting them down. Now, with 103 in my bag, I fear I may have all my eggs in one basket. So to speak!
