I'll be handing out green armor - free q100 LA with 50hp while supplies last - starting at the Fair Haven stables at 6p Central. If you have the mats, I could also make it for you. At some point maybe we can get a parade going with everybody in their green duds, mounts and packers. Further details as we make them up.

I will call a troubadour (I hear that the one from the trivia content has found himself unemployed recently, so he'll be cheap) and hire him to sing us a song during the parade. If anyone can spin a tale for this impromptu event, a strolling minstrel can. Maybe a tale of a great hero who drove out the kitin.

The parade route hasn't been planned yet (Mayor of Fairhaven demands a high price). I'm going to leave it to the MC Soma. Go Soma Go!!

Seriously, I don't have any idea of the background of St. Patrick's day in RL. I couldn't explain to you why we dress in green and drink green beer on that day in RL other than it's fun. Why does the game have to be different?

Since I can't stand to hear of something on Atys happening because of RL events... here is your reason..

Tonight there will be a celebration of the ancient Tryker massab hunts from the old land. In the old lands it used to be a custom for tribe leaders to take their first male child out and show them the art of hunting massab. Following the hunt each tribe would gather at their own camps and pass the leader would pass their green massab coat on to the child to show the child had learned a art of hunting. Then all of the various tribes would march from their camps to Fairhaven in their green. Upon reaching Fairhaven a celebration would commence where they would eat the roast massab meat, dance around fires, and drink beer made from bark.
