Got a bad feeling about this game

Ney, I was in NA server, Trykers refuge area.

Pretty well populated, I can easily see 20+ players on the centre "town".
Occasionally, it could be down to just 5+ on sight. But based on so many "new faces" I am seeing on the server, I guess people are moving to main land fast.

Anyway, the Ryzom population IS building up. We can look forward for chemistry when the different servers linked up in future.

oh yes, and I actually made quite a big effort to get a copy at my doorstep.
Had the same bad feeling about the launch, distribution, registration, login, etc. But frankly, you'll overcome them step by step.

If you were in the beta, you've already known how good it is. Otherwise, you'll be in for a unique MMORPG treat.

Its brand new, try it, test it, enjoy it, hate it, make babies with it, cut it, kiss it, brush it, cook it, drive it, dance with it, fish with it.
And find out if it was worth your money or not, just remember, you got to keep an open mind

got the game, super smooth logging in with ever detail of the game. I waited a whole week, but it was worth it!!!

Awesome graphics, great players, i cant even think now need to go play some more.

I got the game last Friday the 24th and I absolutely love it - been a long time since I have been so hooked on a game right from the beginning.
I am however a little worried by the low population numbers on the Euro English server - a /who around the capital Fair Haven in the Tryker Lake Lands tend to yield a result of 5-20 players (usually 80-90% of us in the same guild ).
I do not know whether or not the population numbers for the other races look better (I imagine Matis and perhaps Fyros do), but this is certainly not a lot of people for a new game that at this time must have started to become available in most places.

Or am I wrong here? Is distribution still lacking sorely behind in countries that will join the Euro English community?
I must admit that I only managed to locate the game in a single webshop in Denmark last Friday, at EB Games they indicated that they would not have it on the shelves until October 1st, and since I have not checked this week there still may only be that one store in the entire country that has it.
If other countries (the ones with a distribution deal) are still suffering from similar problems I guess we can look forward to a much larger crowd joining from next weekend and forward.

I will be crossing my fingers, I really want this game to succeed (even if I am sure it will be and was probably expected/meant to be a niche game), and despite the low population I do have faith that we will be seeing a lot more people once the (hopefully good ) reviews start to trickle in.

If worst comes to worst I can always pray for a merging of the US and UK servers.

Was able to buy it in Austria at the 23rd (well capital city with 1.9 million inhabitants ) and so far I love this came just because its so diffeent from the usual cliche-ridden fantasy MMOROPG.
