locking threads already?

Post by banshee9 »

Come off it...

I hope to god that simple criticism and effort to root out issues with our BELOVED game is not gonna be attacked by the speech police.

A nice thread with many ideas in it... that has the potential to add more ideas to this game gets locked arbitrarily because the moderator sees a few repeated ideas ???? "Feature Wishlist"

LAME

Don't start with the CRAP like SOE and MYTHICK and so many other game companies do with there forums... Players offer you the feedback, silencing it will not help the game grow in the least.

I have to agree. I couldn't for the life of me see why that thread was locked. Wasn't inflammatory. No bickering. No whining. Did concern me a little bit. Just had ideas.

Cerest,

Might I offer a suggestion. Leave a Feature thread stickied, but change it after every patch to include a summation of what was suggested in the previous thread(s).

Also, it'd be nice for you guys to use that thread as a checklist for us to see what things have been implemented.

Actually I would like to know why a thread on wishlist of features was locked? Not open to ideas?

Guys ... I kind of have to agree with this thread.

No reason to lock out yet IMHO.

Cerest, the thread was only open for 12 hours. Do you think everyone who had some say on the matter got it in there in that window? Cmon...don't be the overzealous moddie here...

I agree partially but I also appreciate the fact that the mods might be making our input a little easier to pass along to the people who can do something about it. We can always start a new thread so theres no big loss. See you in-game.

Thread was getting off-topic and repetitive.

My locking it the thread remains useful as something a dev can bookmark, and then quickly scroll through.

People

ramble

too

much

The devs only have so much time for reading forums during the work day. They simply don't work as much as some people play the game nor should they.

As said, if people have more good and decent suggestions rather than just rambling... how about starting a thread and posting them?

right now all I see is pointless and worthless whining. I know this will offend some of you and I don't want to. But its the truth, this is NOT constructive criticism here.

So by some mechanism you believe that having multiple disjointed threads on the same topic is much more clear to Devs than having one thread on the same topic? Whaaaaa? Please explain.
