Outpost Officers...

Outpost Officers...

I looked around Pyre for one lastnight but was unable to locate him/her ... Are these currently in-game? If they are, what are their in-game titles?

Couldn't find them in Zora either. An explanation would definately be nice of what the current system is for a guild to go about outpost quests.

Found these in the buildings of outposts in Tryker and Matis lands, they weren't hiding behind a bush on the outskirts of town or anything...

Eh... well, every single "Outpost" that I've come accross (according to the map) around Pyre was in shambles... in other words just a pile of wood laying around (i.e. NO BUILDINGS in the Outposts) with only 1 NPC in the area and they never had the title of "Outpost Officer"...

Which leaves to question... is this broken? or am I wrong for seeking an NPC labelled "Outpost Officer"?

I cannot speak for any other race, I know the VERY VERY important outpost officers that WERE in Matis , left somewhere between the invasion mob tweaks and the guild creation problem.

The lack of guild OP Officers is one of the reasons I got a three month subscription and no more... if this major important piece doesn't get implemented soon all the goofy apartments, cosmetic tree and mounts they are adding will not keep me around...

The storyline and MUCH info needs to come out soon, or I will give up because I feel strung along. Personally half the things they are patching for the minority, don't interest me in the least. If Guild stuff is not only implemented, but explained... they will lose someone that loves so many things about this game so very much !

The 2 year old info from interviews and such out there does not match the game we are playing now. Talk of racial traits/skills changing AFTER release is insane... The backstory and plans for the game need a serious reread by the big man soon or this is just going to be game ruined by the lowest common denominator instead of the dream we saw before.

The way it SHOULD work is this:

You get an outpost mission from your civilization. Only one guild is supposed to be able to hold these at a time. You then have an amount of time to either conquer or convert the tribe that own's the outpost land. To convert them you go to that Tribe's outpost officer and your guild starts doing those missions.

Only the civilization guilds officers are missing, the tribe outpost officers have no missions, they don't even have a "who are you".

This to me is also one of the most important features about Ryzom. My guild is still striving to be able to get an outpost. Can we get an update, clue, or a hand with knowing what is going on?

well... all the markers for "OutPosts" on the Pyre map that I've been to were nothing more than piles of ruble......... I was under the impression that we'd get these missions, capture the outpost, and it'd build up..... but it's sounding like it should be alot more different than what I thought it was to be....
