Mek Mounts AREN'T Invulnerable

After travelling almost everywhere on my trusy steed, Charlie, I eventually discovered that he is NOT impervious to harm. I've had kinchers sit on top of him for hours without harming him. Last night I ventured down to Wastelands from Fyros with my guildie Hunthor. I managed to grab the Kami and Karavan teles for that side of the PR area, but during one of my runs I ran into a pile of Kirostas, Kinchers and Tyrancha/SlayerTyranchas. Well, wouldn't you know it... a Slayer Tyrancha spits a green gob of goo at my Tube and BLAMMO! Poor Charlie is now sludge at the bottom of Wastelands. I shall buy another, but he was my first and best mount... I shall always remember the way he followed me around everywhere... even when I was dead.

They have done some odd implimentation to make the meks less of a dapper sink... They have made Mektoubs worldwide non-aggro to mobs, so now they can only be killed by AoE as your fine ride was.

However, as an explorer... I have yet to get used to hungry carnivores sitting in the middles of a group of mektoub herbivores...
