Can we have images available again please ?

I would really like to see images enabled again as they always were in the past. A couple months ago they disabled our ability to add images and I think it takes away both immersion and information from us all.

EXAMPLE:
My harvest guide has screenshots to really help those who don't know where to look or what they are looking for.

Clearly Melinoe and WarCry version with images are more descriptive to the very folks who need the information without them having to open each image in another window.

Clearly they dont want bandwidth filled with huge screenshots and could have a filesize limitation or something that would require us use a thumbnail. Same with sigs, they can provide limitations and guidance and those that abuse it, lose it.

Anyone else think as a minimum the "Player Guides" section should have this ability ? Image links are not broke, maybe in this thread they forgot to toggle images off when they recently started it: http://www.ryzom.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9798

Your thoughts on whether they should be implemented globally, in GUIDES ONLY area or not at all ?

Agreed, it's one of the easiest way to learn and help understand parts of the game. Turn them on for guides.

Typically I hate feeding the trolls, and I know you wanted to let everyone know your vast knowledge on the subject.... BUT...

It's a simple poll, let them take care of security... apparently many want images back.

I would like to see the images in a screen shot area, maybe in the "saga" part of the forum, and the guides section, the rest should be a "watch your step" and should have specific rules (no HUGE images, or warn those with low bandwidth or that pay for their ISP by the bandwidth, and ALL images must remain PG or you image privilage will be revoked, and possible further concequences if the situation warants it (putting an x rated image in public forums would be a bannable offense, since teens and younger do view these boards).

I would like to see maps and other images available for those that wish to see them (yes put a spoiler warning on the top of the page, but some of us would like the maps).

i agree tho either thumbnails or limit the size of the pictures, tho allow externally linked ones and it will reduce the server's bandwidth

Yea I think images should at least be able to be used in the guides section of the forums as they are handy in showing people visualy what to do.
