EE Events Team - you Rule!

OK, we are lucky beyond belief to be a part of the EE server. We have the most awesome Events Team ever. At the time of writing these are the stats:

Aniro: 293 posts
Arispotle: 1158 posts (!)
Leanon: 662 posts
Windermeer: 741 posts

Since release our stats have utterly ruled the other shards.

This is not just down to the awesome player-base we have on Arispotle. We have the best and uberest Events Team out there.

I for one am so grateful to be a part of this amazing community, lead by an events team that rules the airwaves.

And why, I'm very surprised we beat the french server here, I'd have though they'd post much more than that.

I'm not even gonna mention Rulers of Atys Kibs' events here, which go from Mektoub Races, to Boxing, and other trips - I'm sure kibsy doesnt need any advertisement :D

Most impressive were the efforts the CSR team has put in the latest invasion (if I may remind, screenies at http://ryzom.info/images/kitin_invasion_15_01_2005.rar )
Now, sure we've been *****ing at the beginning (DP ? talk about a surprise!) but hey, this ended up being real fun, with a role to play for harvesters and crafters aswell.

Lastly, I'd like to remind thee readers (is anyone reading? hello? why am I alone?) that there will be a Matis -> Tryker trip on saturday the 22th of january, 8 PM, Davae.

Love the team, love the game, love the players, ban the scammers that put mats for 50k each on the merchants, hoping someone will click :p

Yay for Euro English humor and non-selfishness!

I think its great to be on the Arispotle shard, and all the people on it are great, kind players (both paying players, guides, and gm's).

Some of the players should have a grandprice-medal (Endasil, Kibs and others) for trying to make it a bit more fun to play SoR (especially while waiting for patch 2). I hope for the sake of the events makers, that the participation of others is enough reward to continue.

I agree in Garstens point of view, that the "nation diversity wins over single nations". Why not try to do things you wish you could do in RL? On the Arispotle Shard we are not English, German, French, Norwegian, Swedish, Hungarian, Danish, Spanish, Italian or any other nation... here we are all Atysian!

If people dont want to attend in these events, then I say its their loss.

i can only agree with what has been said before EE shard rocks!! i ve met great peeps (included my lover...tang..erm..dam) and well thx to the CSRs who organize great events like the last one which ended in a great fun (of course it was fun matis won first..what fyros too?who cares.. ) and the weddings which show how nice the EE community is!

I utterly agree Dami. The player-organised events are so much fun too. Of course Kibsy, Endasil and Jyudas spring readily to mind as the major contributors to amazing guild-organised events, but there are so many guilds planning well-attended events that each week we have something to look forward to, added to the events organised by the official team. I wonder what it is about the EE players that so many of us are willing to organise/attend events and totally throw ourselves into the fun. And then of course we have Thewarcc and Kaetemi videoing each event so that those of us who can't attend can catch up on what we've missed

And I would agree that the player community is what keeps me playing the game...the confluence of personalities from around the world makes the server interesting.

I think the multiple threads concerning the need for improving events speak loud enough about the event team.
