The infamous acces violation

Im coming back to ryzom after a well earned break for a cpl of months, was just wondering if they have fixed the access violation error

There are loads of tweaks now that can reduce you crashes. The most importatny one is getting an Nvidia card and run the game in OpenGL. And use a modern soundcard helps too...

Buying new gear is hardly a tweak But I haven't heard anyone complain abuot it recently so either they all gave up or it got fixed

I'm currently running an ATI Radeon 9800 Pro, and only seem to get crashes/access violations in Trykoth. Also, it generally happens when I look around with the camera - I think they are getting closer to eliminating those crashes altogether, and I think a lot of people agree that it's something connected with graphics and video cards.

All-in-all, I'm happy to say my Ryzom gaming is currently a crash-free experience

So far I had one access violation in 3 months. I used to have one every 5-10 min. But still, most of the crashes were caused my troubles with my pc (bad power supply). Anyway, now I can say I just don't crash anymore.

They are still there, but there are seem to be less then in 'the old' days!

It seems to be certain locations that cause issues in crashing. I am avoiding the ones I know about
