I´m sorry guys,
but this has got to be the most ludicrous thread I´ve ever read so far on these boards.
It´s very, very sad, that some of you after all these years, resp. month they are playing, don´t have the presence of mind to realize that taking
Game Conflicts to a personal level only leads to stupid counterproductive arguments like this one.
It´s interesting how fast this thread devolved into a Kami vs. Karavan thing again. And it´s interesting to see that it´s always the same people, who do not seem to posses at least a tiny remnant of common sense anymore, or have given it to the friendly guy/girl at the door to the Game to be hung up next to their RL-Personalities.
For the sake of the Argument, and maybe somone will argue my point here too, you´re acting like Horde and Alliance here. Choose wichever you are yourself
I´m sure it´ll involve much bikkering and flaming.
Even if this argument is as old as the Genre itself I hereby say it out loud:
*takes a deep breath*:
"GET A LIVE!!!"
"It´s a GAME, for gods sake!"
If someone makes a dumb decission, yes it was his/her own fault and he/she is in for a scolding.
But using this to actually damage an effort done for the good of the Game we all play "together" is simply as low as it can get.
Any Human with at least a tiny bit of common sense should know and realize that "Propaganda" is just lies and missinformation.
Propaganda - in effect, hollow slogans to whipe the masses into a frenzy and to shut off their minds to do the bidding of whomever is in charge.
If you like to be led by the nose by some who do play better on the rethoric flute than others, well... that´s sad.
And why am I suddenly reminded of a specific thread some days ago, where we all assured someone that
"Noooo, our community is still great, and we all do just play and there ain´t no such things as unnessecary flamewars or dumb discussions here in Ryzom. Those who say different, just by looking at the boards, surely must be mistaken."
Shame on you, I say.
Shame on those who can not stand others having a bit more then themselves.
Shame on those who can not elevate themselves above such petty namecalling and accusations.
Shame on those who do not think of the consequences of their deeds before acting and promising things that are sure to cause a riot.
Shame on those who act like children in a sandpit, throwing around mud and not careing what others might think of them.
Shame on those who truly seem to "live the game".
(If you find misspellings, keep them
)
