Bad argument for your part. Following that argument, a 250 in 1h melee can come an say: devs, don't fix the 1h weapons, I can get 250 there, so anyone can. Or a 250 in ranged and say: hey devs, I've 250 in autolauncher, don't revamp the ranged, and so on.

The idea is make the whole game *better*. Reduce with herbs the downtime between solo combats not makes the game easier, only do the game *less bored*. But, alas, if boredom resistance is a needed skill to get 250, and you wanna to stay like that...

hmmm why does everyone want to make the game easier?

I'd go for harder if I had the power (which good for some I dont), The game is already way too easy. Saying that I have multi 250's so according to some ppl my opinion doesnt count.

I still dont like your idea SunCe, I see it coming straight from the RF online book of PvP (which sucked). I think in terms of 1vs1 duels at the moment its pretty cool, as for group pvp its spot on, as for OP pvp its zerg vs zerg and there aint much they could implement to change that

I dont require anyone to agree or like it, I require them to discuss it and come to a conclussion TOGETHER. Wether it be not to do anything or change something ;)

(Melee) Duels in SoR were great before people decided that using selfheals and auras was "against the rules" (not to mention the fact that they stopped melee aura working in duels at all). Best duel I ever had was against Rashan ages ago in one of the old old gladiator leagues - we used all our "powerups" and was a hella close fight.

What you forget is back in the day people wernt all lvl 250, its a much more even playing field now, the majority of players have one or more lvl 250 melee, lvl 250 axe or sword (the most popular melees) against each other, the result is very much based on gear, using auras are simple but anyone with any sence can counteract them....

True, but its even simpler when you don't use auras or selfheals ;)

HERE's MY POINT!!!!!!!!

Now, if your SH's were at 45 seconds-1 minute timers, would it not be sense, to use one, then maybe try running around the person for a little, then keep fighting, trying to keep on top of your heals?
Which would allow the use of higher bleeds, slow dmg, and make them more important since it would be a way to get them to loose health even when trying to avoid your hits?

Nope :)

There are alot of small things to alter to get the ideal stanzas, spend a few hours dueling with someone and you will soon find changing stanzas make the difference between a win or fail, learnt that from xythus :)

Back when I was low level ele(jeez that was a long time ago now) I had a fun duel, running all around pyr blasting away... And SH were as they are now... But we would hit and run, and regen... That was one of the funnest duels I evre had :P

Yeah I don't care if this was a pointless post :P ... I woke up at 4:30 AM and can't get back to sleep >.> *mumbles*
