0.o you mean there's a way to be KOS I hadn't yet discovered!!!
Back when you could attack the city guards (I once cast a bomb spell on some capryni right near the Pyr gate), I did get killed by them and lose a bunch of fame with that civ, so I guess that makes sense.
That being said, it may be possible to sneak into some towns regardless, but it's probably not a good idea to try to get -50 with any civ.. unless you're me

's not true
well to be fair fame has been changed so often in patches it might be true, but wasn't at the time i was in that situation. I got to
this point, think it was about -80 fame, and the guards left me alone - spat at me as i walked past, but nothing more. (note to Faa: i am a good Tryker now, promise!)
