I always get confused by that statement. 80% of ALL Q250 supreme materials are in non-PvP zones right now.

It's not your fault for thinking supremes are related to PvP, many people who've been around much longer say it and perpetuate the myth.

Indeed sehr is right..
yes supreme dig materials are only available in PR...
But there is only 1 region of PR that is PvP - Lands of Umbra.
And that being said..
There is only really 1 spot there that gets fought over alot come summertime and that would be the zun node.
I can vouch for the fact that this is not the only place to get supreme Zun if you know where to look...
So I would say its false that supreme mats are only available via PvP that goes for bossmats too.. you just have to be quick, learn when and where they pop and have a good team on standby for when they do.

Sorry if this is a little off topic..

Assuming Nexus is counted as PR (which I wouldn't do) :p

This is a "good thing". (tm) The 80% bit, that is, not the confusion.

This last comment may do a lot to explain your confusion above.

That said, the idea of a "mining party" could be interesting. I'm just rambling now, but the idea of "Kitin-Lair" only crafting recipes was raised, and when taken in isolation it was justifiably shot down. They could get a new lease on life if they required lair mats to make. One trip to get the recipe, and then the occasional additional trip to get parts to make it. This could also have the beneit of providing a means for people without access to OP mats to make comparably uber items.

Going a step further, the uberness could be directly related to how deep in you're willing to go, which would in turn depend on the size of the force. One fighter and one harvester would be ale to get basic stuff, but i'd take a sizeable force to get right in and get the really good mats and recipes.
