I say to the Karavan "Bring It" - we'll see how far you get and we will also watch you run back to your little forest land with your tails between your legs.

Yeah you have the numbers, but this has made you all very arrogant. You have even started to believe the accusations you spout.

"Wah Wah Wah The Kami declared on 4 of our outposts so we had to stay back and defend. Meantime Half their force were at the supernodes!" - come on you bunch of sissy girls.

I mean Jeepers, are you trying to convince us that you had every single karavan there supporting you? That all of your PR diggers forgot about the season change and went to defend? NO is the answer!

Did we do it on purpose? Was the priority the supernodes? I dunno in answer to that, yet im thinking probably not. In my eyes it wasnt a diversion. You are all just claiming it was because you are all too arrogant to believe that maybe you forgot? or maybe (and i prefer this option) the kami were smart and took the initiative.

I have seen a few comments on here that "blah blah blah the kami are laying down and the karavan will control all the outposts!" - Really? Wow i must just be blind then or something because the last time i checked the karavan weren't even close to total domination! Are you really going to try and put your money where your mouth is karavan and do it? If you believe you are sooo mighty then try it, whats stopping you?

So please can you stop spouting this rubbish about the Kami being pathetic? That we had to use a cheap and nasty way to get at the supernodes? The way it was done was legit, the way it was done was smart, the way it was done defeated the Karavan. If anything it deserves credit.

Perhaps you could point me to somewhere in this thread that a Karavaneer complained about the kamists digging the supernodes? Or where we tried to convince anyone that *all* of our forces were hardpressed to defend the OPs? Or where someone said that it was a "pathetic" tactic?

this is not a personal attack on you Sprite, this is my own personnal opinions:

are the Karavan wearing blinkers to what is going on? can you not see that everything is not gravy on the other sides and even your own? sure loads of kami are now joining karavan, but can you not see the dozens of people leaving this game because of the direct actions and attitude of likeminded guilds such as yours and the rest of the Karavan Alliance?

People are leaving cause no-one likes losing, well guess what, you are the ones losing, losing out on meeting some of the best people in this game cause you are giving them no respect, the arrogance of the Matis will kill this game. Funniest thing i read was "defeat the kami, then we can defeat the kitin", what the hell are you guys thinking? you defeat the kami (which you can, in one weekend if you wanted to) game over. 30% of the server lose their purpose, and when spires come, no doubt you`ll deny them any areas also to teleport to, is that victory? 50% of all Kami will leave the game, the kitin are no challenge we already know that, so Karavan get bored within a few weeks and start leaving the game.

All that will be left are the grinders, who inject nothing into this game, getting high on xp crystals, whist a few devout Kami will be left out of everything and mocked on the forum like has already started to happen. I know neither the Kami or Karavan will like what i`ve written here as it demeaning to you both.

Truth of the matter is the Karavan Alliance has a monopoly on any outpost they want and at the rate they are going of 1/2 outpost takeovers a weekend, you will not have any competition left soon, the more you take over the stronger you get, the more members you steal from Kami the more crystals you need, the more crystals you need, the more the greed for more outposts.

So what will happen to the game when Karavan own the place? you think theres gonna be kitten invasions twice a week to keep you entertained? You may think you own this place, but you are losing the respect of much of the community, one that i used to be proud of being a part of, but am now ashamed, hopefully things will be better in a month or two if i come back.

Please look at what you are doing to this place with open eyes.

My point is that some guys are getting arrogant and some people's attitude is starting to stink.

well lets go back to the original poster and have a look... I cant see where it says that the 4 attacks were coincided with summer/supernode pop. Yet if you say it happened then im quite happy to accept that because it means the Kami were smart and they took the initiative.

Allow me to pickout a few quotes that are key in the arrogance of the karavan. They may only come from only a couple of posters yet i know that alot of you share a similar PoV as its not only clear on the forums its clear when the attacks actually take place.

I had a look at all the karavan posts, i didnt see anything saying "we don't care". So I guess this is your own mentality at work because it seems you have convinced yourself that "the karavan don't care about the supremes". "we have stuff you can't dig" well yes you do but if you are using this mentallity to get group high 5's and that little bit of extra ego boost well pardon me while I laugh at you.

Now while I'm not Sinera and don't know her exact intention, I'm pretty sure that's what most people would call humourous irony I don't really want to have to look for the post that came from to find context, but I bet if I did then it would have something to do with Sinera saying the Kami are more than capable of having a good fight if they put their minds to it (oops, wonder if you're going to take that as an insinuation that you're stupid...)

See, now she's trying to encourage you and you take it as an insult *sigh* This is about where I apologise for referring a little too much to this thread. I think that makes it pretty obvious that it was intentional As for outsmarting us... not really... pretty much the 2nd or 3rd thing that was said after "they've declared on 4 outposts" was "gee, its right on season change"... and you know, if you had actually gone for the outposts, maybe The Soul would have themselves an outpost right now

As for the point... the attacks were set for 07:00-09:00 (PST), 10:00-12:00 (EST), 15:00-17:00 (GMT). As you can see, just a tad more convenient for the Euro players, and I'm fairly sure most (not all) of The Soul are continental European, so you can add an hour or two to that GMT and get a rather convenient "after work" timeslot

Its quite possible you can't see any other posts along those lines, but trust me when I say that its been said a few times. And hey, season change is in about 36 hours... if you wanna waste another 48mill to keep us off the supernodes, thats up to you

well said scar! This game was always about the community due to the lack of much else except pretty
I guess the community is still there, just split into factions now but the new attitudes i see on forums and in game sickens me. I think Kye had the right idea I cant believe how hard it is to leave outright when Seren is still sitting there playable.

Scar, we have talked about this very thing more than you can imagine. "We" are not stealing anyone, you know that most have made their own guild or slipped into a guild without mentioning prior affiliations. I doubt anyone would knowingly take in a homin with so little loyalty for a faction as to leave when the first shots are fired... they'd not be anyone you could rely on.

We are not war mongers (mostly) and are trying our best to take care of those devoted to Jena... Though we want to be strong to defend ourselves, domination is certainly not aspired to (by most).

As soon as the multiple attacks were planned we talked about the timing being when seasons changed. There WERE Kara digging and reporting, and we know who the VERY FEW Kami that were digging as well...

The original post was sour grapes and treated accordingly...

The Kami folks that showed up, whatever the outcome, did their best to represent themselves. Attacking 4 OP's at once got too much attention and galvanized a defense in spite of the timing. The Karavaneers have taken one outpost in 3 weeks and you guys act like we are bulldozing thru Atys.

I have expressed this same concern over all our newfound friends... Of course DT is a zealot of sorts and doesn't fully trust anyone claiming Karavan but not willing to attack their Kami "friends"...

It makes me wonder how we can all balance our gameplay to have fun, while still following the storyline.
