Fix the skills (Melee is totally unbalanced, and beside Ele Magic & Def magic, all other skills are useless), finish the game (what was really planned, and outpost is only a small percentage of it) and fixes the zillions of bug, ryzom is good, but even a beta game is less bugged!
Basically, my vision of ryzom is its still in beta stage, so why i play ryzom you will ask ? Because the community is awesome, and it make this game great, but like many, i dont think it will make i will stay on ryzom forever sadly
I'm not being funny but I have yet to come across a MMORPG where somebody has not said that they believe the game still to be in beta. When playing EQII, I even came across an accusation of the game being in "alpha stage". The fact is this just isn't true.
Games like this are tremendously hard to make. Balancing issues arise all the time. Is Beta supposed to get rid of them? I suppose so but the fact every other game on the market (from EQ2 to WOW to SWG to Ryzom) has balancing issues suggest that Nevrax are in good company.
Whether you choose to stay or go is your own decision and I won't try to influence it. Although I do believe that of all the games of this type on the market at the moment, Ryzom perhaps has the most upside.
Balancing isn't easy. Saying "improve this" or "make that weaker" is all well and good, but you can over do it and destroy professions.
Like I said, you decide whether to play or not. But if you stay don't expect rainbows. There will be bugs, there will be balancing issues and there will be bad patches. It's a (sad) fact of gaming life.
