Fix the skills (Melee is totally unbalanced, and beside Ele Magic & Def magic, all other skills are useless), finish the game (what was really planned, and outpost is only a small percentage of it) and fixes the zillions of bug, ryzom is good, but even a beta game is less bugged!

Basically, my vision of ryzom is its still in beta stage, so why i play ryzom you will ask ? Because the community is awesome, and it make this game great, but like many, i dont think it will make i will stay on ryzom forever sadly :(

I'm not being funny but I have yet to come across a MMORPG where somebody has not said that they believe the game still to be in beta. When playing EQII, I even came across an accusation of the game being in "alpha stage". The fact is this just isn't true.

Games like this are tremendously hard to make. Balancing issues arise all the time. Is Beta supposed to get rid of them? I suppose so but the fact every other game on the market (from EQ2 to WOW to SWG to Ryzom) has balancing issues suggest that Nevrax are in good company.

Whether you choose to stay or go is your own decision and I won't try to influence it. Although I do believe that of all the games of this type on the market at the moment, Ryzom perhaps has the most upside.

Balancing isn't easy. Saying "improve this" or "make that weaker" is all well and good, but you can over do it and destroy professions.

Like I said, you decide whether to play or not. But if you stay don't expect rainbows. There will be bugs, there will be balancing issues and there will be bad patches. It's a (sad) fact of gaming life.

I really cant understand what all this complaining is about...

* Have you ever played a game of this magnitude that has absolutely NO bugs?

* What are all these MAJOR bugs that ppl are talking about that they can fill up whole books with?

* Why do people continue to play the game if it s**ks so bad?

* Where do you find the energy to complain so much?

* Why can't you just take it for what it is instead of always trying to change it to fit someones personal desires?

* Can't you just report the problem and leave it to the devs to sort it out?

Sure Ive seen a few bugs but they dont really bother me that much, I enjoy the game too much to be bothered by a few small issues (yes I think they are almost all small).

There will NEVER be a perfect Saga of Ryzom, because perfect means so many different things with so many ppls different opinions.

There will ALWAYS be ppl that aren't happy about this or that, even in the perfect environment - why do you think newspapers consist of 80%+ bad news (ie ppl getting killed, robbed, raped and whatnot)? Despair is in - and its here to stay - enjoy it or spread some darn LOVE for Jenas sake...

oh can go on and on.... but will only bring up the worst one for me:
The bug what likes to make you pc reboot if you are in tryker with an ati card and happen to be swimming around.
This in fact stops me form playing the lovly trykers.... or explore the lands.

I know you just trying to defend is but infact Ryzom is missing a goal or several goals for the players to strive for. Lvling is fun for abit, and most just do it to be with their friends.

I have been Tryker for 7 months, I (most of the time) crash if I spawn or TP to FH. It doesn't stop me playing, it just irritates me a little.

Have you checked recently? I have an ATI card and my alt is Tryker. No problems whatsoever. I used to crash a lot in Tryker before some patch. Never had any bugs that cause reboots though with Ryzom.

I crash when I TP to the FH Karavan TP, but I'm okay to the FH Kami TP.
(Because it's further from the water?) Annoying but liveable.
