I would like to see the thread go on as I may write a little play guilde in the guide section for anyone else who would like to play with affliction.

please keep the info on what mobs affliction works best (especially in tyrker lands as I aint bothered to go there yet).
Stun
- Stingas (Tryker Plant) lands quite frequently (doesn't last long but its useful)
- Kipee, not tested (assumed immune)
- Ragus, lands and very useful

Fear
- Stingas, immune (not that they could run away or anything)
- Ragus, lands and is effective (may return with friends in injured)

Madness
- Stingas, high resists but it does land
- Kipee, lands and very effective
- Torbac lands and very effective
- Ragus lands and very effective
- Cloppers lands and very effective

Madness is super effective if the mob has a crit attack. If the crit hit themselves 9/10 the mob drops dead.

Blind
- Torbac, lands and very effective
- Ragus, lands and very effective

Root
- Stingas, err never considered this on a static plant

Sleep
- not tested

Affiltion is great if you use the right spells ... Tank + fear aff is not effective as the tank ends up chasing the target of loosing out on damage time.

Combo that I have found very effective

Fear + off caster
Madness/blind/stun + tank
Sleep is great for knocking out adds, allowing the team to focus on the main target.
Root+off caster is very good solo or in a caster team.

Based on some, but not exhaustive testing.

Stun works rather well against Kipee, they're certainly not immune. Its nice to give them a taste of their own medicine from time to time :)

everything works very well on ragus and gingo's, bodocs, capryinis, yubos.
Madness and blind work even better on Gibbais.

Hmm, I haven't used fear for some time, but I seem to remember getting an 'immune' message when casting it against Gingo...

I dont feel reading all that is here, just would like to say that I was having some fun with Jeannie yesterday and we did some duelling.
She casted madness on me a few times and it didnt do that much good, as my gloves dont hit me for many points and I dodged myself, *but* I did start hitting myself quite often.

Luckily she was minched meat when we did some melee duels, that kinda gave me revenge for the pudding she made of my brain earlier...

Note quite true, Bodocs (and Javings) are immune to stun, I found that out the hard way!

Oh yeah, they're immune to fear...another lesson learnt the hard way.

I tried stun on a Mighty Kipee in Tryker last night - It reported that they are immue to this spell type. Madness however linked and resulted in a HP drop on the kipee when it hit itself.

damn, know for a fact stun works against most kipees. so this means different types are immune to different things. *screws up spreadsheet was working on to find what works well and what does not*

well one dead idea

Is it possible that the same mob acts differently in different lands? I'm just asking, becasue I know for sure that I have been stunning mighty kipees in thesos springs for a long while.
