Thanks for your feedback regarding this subject everyone.

Just a quick message to let you guys know we've passed your feedback on to Nevrax and that the issues you've pointed out (high food consumption rates, limited storage space) will be looked into.

We've also passed on suggestions from other communities, including but not limited to being able to name your mounts.

As usual though: No promises™. I have no control over when/if/what kind of improvements will be made. ;)

Oh, so naming mounts suddenly has high priority??

I want to name mu packers for over a month now, and everyone laughs at me! Well, if I can name my non-excisting mount, I want to name my packers also! Watch out, or this cute Tryker girl will start to cry...

Hehhe Yes i want to name my packer too.. it just doesn't sound right saying "come here Mektoub 1!" :D

And i think the unnamed new land will be Aty's branches that reach into the sky 8)

ailish wrote:the one thing that really annoys me about the mounts are the way people get a group of agro following them, and then fun past a player on foot, whom they can see you their radar, if they bothered to check it, and often that player on foot then dies as they can't take on the number of agros on the mounts tail. i mean, ok it takes a while to mount and dismount, but thats no reason to drop you're agro on someone else to stop them hitting you. also once they've stopped chasing you, you could have the curtosy of going back and helping the person whom has jsut taken on all your agro. but often people just continue on their way, no reguard for the poor person fighting your agro mob. i have died numberous times because someone has run past me with 4 or more agro on their tail, and quite frankly i'm sick of it. i have to avoid roads now incase someone is on a mount being chased by agro.
This is a very good point. I for one hate having 10 or 15 Gingos on my tail and then see a blue dot and just know that those Gingo are going to aggro that person unless I take some fairly extreme evasive action.

Quite often I've had to stop, dismount and go back and help someone who's swamped with aggro that I accidentally trained onto them, especially when the trailing aggros are more than 50m behind me, as then I can't see them on my radar.

Seems to me that sometimes the mobs give up almost immediately, and other times they'll chase you to the ends of Atys.

If you do get far away they will stop following you, I think from experiments its about 60m on a gingo/ragus

I do try to evade players as much as possible when I know I have a preditor on my tail, tho sometimes I do have to stop and help out :)

Cool idea. I would like to be able to name everything. This includes crafted items.

The name i give my items does not need to be seen by others if i sold it, but it would just be so damn useful for knowing what jewels and armour i'm putting on.

Hemm a different kinde of mout would not hurt eather. Maby a kiban or a oxy O.o

If the mount would have 2/3 of the bulk a packer could carry it would be verry usefull to me. Wy not just combine both? Have the sorage of a packer but with bulk limint vs run/walk/food penalty?

In other words if the mount walks next to you it has the storage of a packer. If you ar sitting on it, it counts as bulk baggedge (ok ez you need 2 mounts)... .

Logical to me...

I ticketed a bug after I crashed while mounted ..... (makes note to upload screenies)

It only showed on my screen as I called a gm just to check....

After the crash I logged back in.

I found that I was 'inside' my mount, the game for movement purposes ... though I was on foot, but my client was conviced I was mounted.... I was unable to mount or dismount.

The funny bit ... while inside my mount... I ran around ... after a few seconds the graphics changed from a packer mount to .... as follows:

A yber, an Izam, a kipee, back to a yber, a ragus, a scary ragus, a lady tryker, a yber again ....

I have screenies of these forwarded to GM/Devs .... it had me in fits of laughter.

The best was a running ragus as it fit the scale of the Tryker perfectly.

Just thought I would share that with you..... If was fixed by login out and back in.
