Anyone interested on how to stop the goo!!!!!!!!
Re: Anyone interested on how to stop the goo!!!!!!!!
I dug alot of goo in the roots in umbra. I dont recall exactly where and it was not a mission mat. It was actually goo. I will go to the roots again and dig some and post svreenshots of where to dig it. I will do this in the next couple days.

Tell me, Raynes, if you think seeing a form tells you all about a creature, who, really, are the Kami?
Are they the fuzzy little creatures that inhabit the more populated parts of the Matis forest? Or are they the clawed and fanged shadowy horrors that accompany the Zoria tribes in the Fleeting gardens. Or are they the dessicated wraiths that haunt the desert lands of Fyros. Or perhaps they are the huge monstrosities that lumber about, imposing thier tyranical will?
What exactly are the Kami? Which of these varied forms is thier true form, or is it all of them together? An answer, which if true, would make them essencially formless, and then, according to your logic, unknowable.
Simply because a creature springs from Atys (and we do not really know that the Kami are from here, it is simply the story the tell) it does not give them an inherent goodness. The gingo are part of Atys. The Zerx are part of Atys. Countless horrors that I have not seen or even heard of yet are all part of Atys, that does not mean they are benificial.
Is it coincidence that the Kami and the goo appear at the same time?
I agree that there is more goo than there used to be. But this is not because the goo is spreading, it is because more goo is being created in order to keep us afraid. The Kami wish to dominate us. They will use any tactic available. Fear seems to work on the Zoria, and that is why the Kami spread the goo through thier lands.
I have no idea where you got the idea that the goo and the Kami appeared at the same time. That is not true.
The Kami are the friends of Atys and the ones who protect it. This has been proven time and time again. When homins competely rob the planet dry of a resource, what happens? The Kami stops them. When the goo was taking over the jungle and threated to completely take over Zorai home lands who stood by us to stop it? The Karavan? No, they tried to force us to continue to gather resources for them. The Kami were the ones to step in and stop the Karavan from punishing us for tending to the goo.
I have to ask you if the Karavan are so good and so trustworty, why did they punish my people for not doing as they asked? Furthermore if they are there for the good of homins, why do they insist on keeping their technology such a secret? The Kami teach the loyal and faithful their magical secrets. What about all the resources that the Karavan have homins collecting? What becomes of them?
Re: Anyone interested on how to stop the goo!!!!!!!!
Go ahead and try to kill them, I'd love to see how quickly your sad Karavan butt would get wiped out. Better yet send in your masters, the Karavan to kill the Kami. Oh wait, the Karavan technology doens't work against them!zumwalt wrote:Its simple, destroy all Kami, don't be prejudice on size either, just destroy them all, every last one.
Then the goo will just magically go away.
The goo is really a bi-product of kami fecal matter.
As long as Atys exists, the Kami will protect it. No matter what the Karavan tries, the Kami will always keep them in control.

Sometime in every succesful homin's life, they have been corected by thier parents. It is part of a natural learning procces. Does the fact that a parent has punished a child make the parent untrustworthy or evil? Obviously not, even the suggestion is obsured.raynes wrote: I have to ask you if the Karavan are so good and so trustworty, why did they punish my people for not doing as they asked? Similarly, in the life of every successful homin, there has been a time when they were not given exactly what they wanted, right when they wanted it. Does this action, not to spoil a child, or give the child an object that could do them harm, mean the parent does not care for the good of the child?
We could ask, by your reasoning, why do the Kami not teach thier dark sorcery to all homins. Why do they limit it only to their benighted followers?
You paint a picture of slave camps where brave homin are forced to do nothing more than labor for the good of Karavan overlords. I challenge you to show me even once such incident of these camps. The Karavan obviously have access to resource greater than our own. They ask that we tend to the lands surrounding the cities, clearing them of filth and debris. Enabling the land to be put to productive use.
The Karavan will lead the effort to remove the goo from Atys, just as soon as the producers of the goo are removed.

It is a fact that the Karavan would not let my people tend to the goo, instead telling them they had to gather resources for them. It is a fact that the Kami had to step in and stop the Karavan. It is why the Zorai no longer follow the Karavan. If you do not beleive me, I urge you to study history.
As for your statemets about homins having to do what is best for them, even if they don't want to. I ask you to explain to me why collecting resources for the Karavan is good for homins. The Karavan do not take those resources and use them for the good of homins. No they tell you they are offerings to make Jena happy.
Concerning your question about the Kami only teaching magic to those who are loyal. You have no business putting forth such a questions when the ones you support, the Karavan won't show anyone the secrets of their technology. The Kami reward the loyal. Tell me what does the Karavan reward their loyal with?

Do you hear, dear homin? We may not even quesiton the motives of the Kami. They are, apparantly, above reproach. We are not worthy to ponder thier secrets unless we have already sold our souls for the triffles that they offer. The deluded followers of the dark Kami cult have surrendered thier ability to think for themselves, and they forbid all others from doing the same.raynes wrote: Concerning your question about the Kami only teaching magic to those who are loyal. Ask yourselves, is this the world you want Atys to become? Must we all be slaves to these amorphous creatues of shadow and deciet?
There are twisted tales being spread in Zoria, no doubt lies planted by the Kami, that the Karavan prevented the Zoria from stoping the goo. I am certain the actual sequence of events was the Karavan pled with the Zoria to ignore the trick place before them by the devious Kami, and focus on preparing for the dark times ahead. When the Kami saw thier goo ploy was having an effect, they increased the amount of goo present. This predictably, fightened the Zoria even more, and the Karavan took steps to both protect the Zoria from the goo and focus then on their preparations.
The Zoria would not be guided, and they invited the Kami in...offering thier very souls in exchange for the power to drive away the benevolent Karavan.
The Karavan could not be defeated by Kami tricks, but they could be of no further help to the Zoria that had so completly lost thier way. This was not a victory of the Kami over the Karavan, as the distorted Zoria records make it out to seem, but the greatest deafeat the Zoria had ever suffered. It was the point were the Zoria themselves surrendered.
We mourn for these lost homin, and we pray the Jena guides them back.

Re: Anyone interested on how to stop the goo!!!!!!!!
I never said that homins shouldn't question the motives of the Kami. I said you shouldn't. Nor should any Karavan supporter. The reason being that the entire devotion to Jena and the Karavan is based on the idea that you are not suppose to ask questions. Try asking them where they come from. Try asking one of them to see their faces. Try asking them about their technology. The fact is you won't because if you do, you would be punished.mrshad wrote:Do you hear, dear homin? The really sad part is you are comfortable following those who don't even view you as an equal or important.
Re: Anyone interested on how to stop the goo!!!!!!!!
This is typical of dark cult mentality. Only the chosen are permitted to question. The rest of us may only follow blindly.raynes wrote:I never said that homins shouldn't question the motives of the Kami. I said you shouldn't. Nor should any Karavan supporter.
I wonder how much you have actually learned from the Kami, Raynes. Have they explained to you why they stoped the Matis from creating a wall to defend themselves against another kittin invasion?
Have they told you what they really are, and what they really want?
Have they explained why, if they hold the secrets to magic, that the Matis and tryker , who are loyal to Jena, also have been able to become great mages?
You see, they have decieved you on even that small advantage.
We do ask, Raynes. And we get the answers we need for now. They tell us they have come from a planet similar to Atys, that they were created in Jena's images, just as we were. If they choose not to show thier faces, that is thier right. No one would force you to expose yourself in public just to satisfy some perverse curiosity.raynes wrote: The reason being that the entire devotion to Jena and the Karavan is based on the idea that you are not suppose to ask questions. They teach us technology, bit by bit, as fast as we are able to recieve it. We know the secrets to firearms already, although we accept that at this stage they seem crude, we belive that we will learn more as we become capable of understanding it.
We ask liberally, and we learn all we can, and there is no punishment handed to the seeker of knowledge.
As much cannot be said about the over zealous harvester who chances too near a Kami thug. The Kami value all life...except for that of the homin that does not obey. Those souls are striken down without delay.
No, Raynes, the sad part is that these shapeless beings have decieved so many into accepting that thier lives are less valuable than the lives of replenishable plants.raynes wrote: The really sad part is you are comfortable following those who don't even view you as an equal or important.
