I am curious about something. Many of the games aspects try to be as real as possible. For example the fact that the only loot from mobs is mob parts. So what is the explaination of being able to take and put stuff on your packer if its not right next to you?

For some reason, I find this post oddly funny.

I'm hoping the packer change fixes the bug where you could place things in your packer even when you were nowhere near a stable. Guess I'll wait and find out.

Nope -- We've tried it at many stables... You can only access your packer at whatever stable it is in. It's not greyed out when you look at it, but you cannot transfer anything. Can't even access a Pyr packer from the other Pyr stables.

I hope they get around to fixing my missing packer bug

Actually, what they did from what you describe is not a bad thing really.
Now, they just need to increase the number of allowed owned packers to a herd.
Right now, you can only own 3 packers, maybe they should make it unlimited but only 3 per stable.

By the time you have 3 packers you are probably in a position to make money fairly easily, so teleporting around isnt that hard. Money isnt that hard to get in this game, and there isnt much too spend it on, so using it for fast travel is what I do. Just means I put all my packers in one pack and teleport back to that spot all the time. Beam me up Scotty...

The reason this thread seems funny is because the problem is not so much with the patch , as clearly with the patch notes.
The phrasing is awkward, incomplete and so implies many things unclear to any who have not experienced the specific bug itself. They need to rewrite the patch notes.
"Some items were still visible when browsing your to-be-sold items list at the merchant, when they should have not been removed because of the timer to sell."
The part about the "to-be-sold" items is virtually a triple negative. It in fact is contradictory. If they were still visible in the Your Sale tab then they have not been removed , so you can't then say that the problem is that "they should not be removed because of the timer to sell." In other words this is total contradictory gobbledeegook. Also the way the items are called "to-be-sold" instead of Your Sale is written by someone less familiar with the game then they should be. This is the result of too many people in the chain of command from patch engineer to customer base. The truth has been deformed into a tall tale. The quoted section above is closer to reverse polish notation than it is to english. It neither describes the problem accurately nor accurately describes the solution. It's simply balderdash.
I harp on that example because the others have pointed out the lack of clarity in all the other parts as well. From "far away" to the correction to "far away stable" which even then doesn't say much. What is far away?
Nevrax, my sister speaks fluent french and english. Maybe you should get in touch with her.
These are the first patch notes that have been so inaccurate and vague in some time. If this person is new, that's your problem. Compare the staff that worked on creating these patch notes versus the previous ones. These patch notes were never proofread by anyone who had any understanding of the game and of english. It's really as simple as that, or that person hasn't slept for 48 hours.
